This is doing the rounds on fb at the moment.

Seriously Hmm

OP posts:
OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 07/02/2016 12:43

So I get my post deleted for calling out Uare on how dense she is, but her disgusting posts are allowed to stand?

I'll repeat what I said again. Uare, adoption DOES NOT WORK HOW YOU THINK IT WORKS IN THE UK.

IT DOESN'T.

Teen Mom-style open adoption doesn't happen in the UK.

Plus, if someone doesn't want to continue their pregnancy, why do you think they'd want an open adoption?

yet another poster just couldn't be bothered to give their baby a chance at life

Seeing as this post will no doubt get deleted again, I'll go ahead and say it. WHAT FUCKING PLANET ARE YOU LIVING ON?

And who the fuck are you addressing this to? Have the balls to be honest, own your shitty opinions and tell the person it's aimed at. I'm wondering if, because it's me who was talking about adoption, it's me - if so, I've already said I didn't have an abortion. I continued the pregnancy and had my DD and completed my education at the same time and got a first in my degree. But I don't presume to tell anyone what they should and shouldn't do because I'm not an ABSOLUTE CUNT.

twofingerstoGideon · 07/02/2016 13:05

I'm also very disappointed that MN are allowing UAre's goady posts to stand. So far, we've had:

'Can you read?'

'Another poster who couldn't be bothered to give their baby a chance at life...'

and the classic 'Why don't we all just go get abortions every time we get pregnant?'

And this deliberately provocative trolling shit is allowed to stand while people calling the poster out on it get theirs deleted.

UareWhatUeat · 07/02/2016 13:29

Arguing with me and swearing and name calling doesn't actually achieve much does it?

People have different views to me and that's fine.

If you are upset over an abortion you've had then start a thread talking about that

I've read other thread on Reddit about people who had abortions and their excuses and I didn't agree with them, but I'd be interested to read any new thread on it

I didn't start this thread

People are in denial about what abortion actually is. Calling babies parasites and foetus's is just cruel.

There are other options they could of chosen to abortion but they didn't

As I said people lie to themselves about smoking causing cancer too.

People would rather deny the truth than admit that an aborted baby is and still looks like a baby

MaudGonneMad · 07/02/2016 13:32

Calling an unborn baby a foetus is cruel? Riiiiiiight.

Agree that UAre is uncannily like that bonkers other poster, who frequently gets banned, if I remember rightly.

ToastDemon · 07/02/2016 13:33

So "people have different views to you".
Except you don't think they do, do you?
You repeatedly make unfounded assertions or claim that everyone must think x, y or z because you do.
And you still can't tell the difference between a baby and a foetus. How on earth is it cruel to call a foetus a foetus? That's what it is!

Dawndonnaagain · 07/02/2016 13:45

The word you are looking for is reasons.
People are in denial about what abortion actually is. Calling babies parasites and foetus's is just cruel.
No, it is scientific and factual and as pointed out before, you are the one in denial.

As I said people lie to themselves about smoking causing cancer too.
Logical fallacy, ergo irrelevant.

People would rather deny the truth than admit that an aborted baby is and still looks like a baby
Depends on timing, but a 12 week old FOETUS doesn't look like the carving at the top of the thread.

Dawndonnaagain · 07/02/2016 13:46

Arguing with me and swearing and name calling doesn't actually achieve much does it?
And your point is?

I'm now thinking I have actually been trolled just because no-one could actually be that stupid - could they?

Uare dont speak for everyone. I know exactly what a abortion and what options are available. Abortion, adoption, raising it. For every option, it has good and bad and sometimes downright horrifying for every woman who considers these options.

Its not one size fits all, women are individuals and just because one woman makes a decision thats right for her, doesnt mean its right for another woman.

5madthings · 07/02/2016 13:53

The majority of abortions take place before ten weeks of pregnancy, no it doesn't look like a baby at thst point but even if it does why does it matter? Is abortion Ok if it doesn't resemble a baby? How can abortion for rape be Ok as surely in your view uare it still looks like a baby? Do you not see you are completely illogical in saying abortion is Ok for rape yet not Ok otherwise.

You also haven't answered how it could be decided who should be allowed an abortion on grounds of rape.

You seem quite insistent women should just have a baby and give it up for adoption, no understanding of how the system works or even any acknowledgement of the reasons women terminate or the risks women face by continuing with a pregnancy. As someone who is 32 wks preg I can say it's not a walk in the park and actually like my other pregnancies this one is low risk, it's an easy pregnancy I haven't even had many of the minor issues that women tend to face in pregnancy, most women, indeed all those I know at a similar stage are having a much harder time but despite this being an easy pregnancy with a wanted baby I would be lying if I said it wasn't impacting my health and will continue to do so after birth. I am happy to make that trade off but not naive enough to think every other woman should or will want to do the same. But you carry on living in cloud cuckoo land where women can just be incubators before gleefully giving up a baby and carrying on with their lives, I mean you have seen one example of it on mtv so you must be right.

UareWhatUeat · 07/02/2016 13:56

People denied the holocaust as well

Some people still do. That's why the concentration camps have been turned into museums.

To show people what really happened even though it was horrible

That's why the Germans were shown around the camps after they were liberated. Because they were still denying that bodies were being burnt in their neighbourhood.

No one wants to face the trust about abortion.

Go online and look at the abortion pics, educate yourself and then tell me those aren't babies being ripped apart!

AloraRyger · 07/02/2016 13:58

Referring to a foetus as a foetus being cruel is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on any thread I've ever read on any forum about terminations. Laughable.

Uare is clearly so determined to upset/offend people that they're reduced to coming out with corkers like that.

Not worth the effort of responding to, really.

Uare Slippery slope and Appeal to Emotion are logical fallacies. The Holocaust has absolutely nothing to do with this argument whatsoever.
My father was a Doctor, my mother (before a career change) a midwife. I work with Doctors ( I teach Doctors on an part time basis), I am more than aware of what an abortion looks like. I suggest that you stay offline and stop falling for the nonsense that anti women and anti choice sites put up. Why do you believe they are any more real than other sites? Why do you believe they are any more real than a scientific site? Why do you believe there is some sort of medical conspiracy to hide the truth with regard to an abortion?

UareWhatUeat · 07/02/2016 14:01

this thread wasn't started about lets shared excuses for why some people had abortions

There are groups online you can join or indeed start your own threads instead of thinking up silly insults

There are other ways to get a point across without name calling and swearing

People who are raped are victims that's why

They haven't caused the situation, it's something unjust that happened to them and I feel sorry for rape victims

Explained it already in this thread

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/02/2016 14:05

No, this thread was started to show how your ilk will lie and deceive to achieve their ends.

NeedACleverNN · 07/02/2016 14:05

*People who are raped are victims that's why

They haven't caused the situation, it's something unjust that happened to them and I feel sorry for rape victims

Explained it already in this thread*

But HOW do you know that woman was raped?! What if a random woman turns up at the hospital 8 weeks pregnant and says "I need an abortion. I was raped"

What proof is there apart from her word?

By your logic, if any woman wants to terminate a pregnancy, all she has to do is say she was raped and it's suddenly acceptable

OP posts:
Highsteaks · 07/02/2016 14:06

uare you still haven't explained why the inherent value of the life of a foetus solely depends on the circumstances around its conception? Surely a foetus who is conceived by rape is just as innocent as a foetus conceived by enthusiastic consensusk sex? Why does one deserve to die and the other not?

Dawndonnaagain · 07/02/2016 14:07

shared excuses for why some people had abortions
REASONS
As for the rest, just like your excuses for your abominable and abhorrent behaviour, you really do appear to deserve the name calling. It's not easy to try and remain calm with someone who is anti women and who doesn't have any valid points. Someone who discusses science without a clue or comprehension. Someone who continually throws up fallacies instead of legitimate arguments.

Also, through your ramblings I still can't work out your stance. Do you just wildly judge women who have abortions, or would you like to see abortion made illegal again?
