Dawson's creek has to be one of the most frustrating shows ever. I have watched it end to end around 8 times. (Currently watching again) and each time if get more and more pissed off with this whole idea that Dawson has some sort of claim over Joey's virginity! All the fretting and hand wringing over whether she had sex with pacey and then her lying when she did and Gretchen telling her she has to go and tell him the truth. BOLLOCKS. She has to tell no-one. Her sex life was never Dawson's business (except that one time way later in university when they had sex with each other) he has no right to know any of it. I hate that whole storyline and the several years of pandering to the notion he had!

It is dangerous, to imply that a girl owes a boy something because he has feelings for her or finds her attractive or has asked her out or has known her for longer than somebody else has known her.

I've had that said to me, that I should go out with someone because he really liked me, and it didn't seem to matter that I didn't like him. It was all a bit "but he saw you first, he's liked you for ages, you're hurting his feelings" and this was by grown adults at work. It would have been worse if I'd been a teenager at school because I might have believed it and gone out with him because I was guilt-tripped into it and thought his feelings were my fault.

I can't imagine feeling like I had to explain my sex life, past, present or future, to the first boy I dated at school.

Dawson was whiney and self-absorbed. No pity for him at all. Did he even ever really date Joey? Wasn't it just a one off or something like that? She was dating Pacey for years. I remember it did seem to take forever for her to get round to losing her virginity. It must have been a massive let down for her after building it into such a big thing.

O my lord! I've just IMDB'ed the shit out of DC and realised the face I recognised in an episode of Stalkers was Jack from Dawson's Creek! The silver fox look does not suit him AT ALL.

I watched all of the OC when I was on maternity leave with dd1, I became quite the thirty year old obsessive . I watched all of Dawson's Creek first time around, I don't think a character irritated me quite as much as Dawson, apart from his dad - easy to see where Dawson got all the over angsty, too much time on his hands, overthinking from.

I like the Affair too, even though Dominic West is in it.

All six seasons. And, umm no real idea why. I watch lots of TV in bed.

Joey and pacey initially had a week together before Dawson found out and they ended it right there. Then they got together at the end of the school year and went sailing, came back, stayed together then split up at senior prom close to the end of the school year. Just before they had sex for the first time it was discussed that they had been together 9 months and they had another month or so after they had sex so i guess around 10 months together.

Mitch was killed in a car accident by dropping his ice cream and trying to get it a driver who fell asleep at the wheel. It was just after an argument with dawson about dropping out of university.

I was watching an episode of Criminal minds recently and was shocked by Kerry Smith's greyness.
He was aged 26 to 31 when Dawson's Creek was on TV compared to Michelle Williams who was 18 -23

I've got the box sets but only have season 3-6 as I'm only interested in the Joey - Pacey dynamic rather than they Joey - Dawson - Jen hysteria
