What I want to know is who is buying these "hampers"? You could do them yourself for less money. It's not something like jewellery or pictures where you need to invest in specific equipment. But chocolate, bodywash and a bit of cellophane? Anyone can get that during a weekly shop!

But then my local Co-op is selling a small, HOLLOW chocolate rose on a plastic stick for the frankly extortionate price of £2. There's less chocolate there than you'd get in a treat size bag of buttons (~35p) I estimate. So it's happening on a grand scale too!
