Well I've just done it anyway. And this will probably be deleted. I have just found a really old thread of mine from Christmas 2014 that one of HQ people deleted it on the grounds of that Monty is probably rocking around the Christmas tree. I was really distressed at the time and didn't come back to the thread because my laptop crashed. I now have a new one. (a year later) I have posted sporadically between then and now. Fuming.

It's the fact that the OP was the person who posted last on that thread, that makes nonsense of her claim that it was deleted because she didn't come back to the thread - as if that would ever happen anyway.

This thread has made my brain hurt - but it's only a little pain.

So confused right now. What is the actual problem? Because I can't see it. The thread op complained about being deleted is still there. That thread being the one she didn't come back to, yet she was the last one to post on it.

Maryz I think it's clear for all to see absolutely nothing she have posted has been bullying AT ALL. I actually think this thread should be deleted because it's really not fair for someone to be labelled a bully when they clearly haven't

Op, you are obviously feeling a bit sensitive but please be reassured you haven't been being picked or bullied.

I'm surprised not to see myself on that thread tbh as the fecking too early Christmas threads (especially JUNE) is one of my pet hates.

I think perhaps everyone is adding two and two together and making five here. Or something .

Shazz that is totally unfair. I'm truly sorry for your loss but half the threads on here don't compare to losing a loved one, let alone two. So please don't try and shame this particular OP. We all have our problems, some more serious than others but they are not comparable.

It's all very odd, and OP, I think you should take stock and be less sensitive or just walk away from MN.
The way you started the grammar thread itself is bewildering.
Then tracking down a pp for making a comment that you didn't like.
Finally, how you read the Christmas thread. Not deleted and you were the last to post there with a joking comment.

I agree with some who've said this thread could do with deleting. I don't think OP was bullied either BUT pisstaking about how/why she feels as she does isn't on really. We don't know what people are going through in real life which triggers certain feelings...which might seem silly to some but not to the person who is going through it. "Don't be silly" attitude is hardly ever useful advice or a solution to anything

Its also very unfair to make accusations about bullying and then bugger off

But if this thread was deleted, wouldn't the OP object and feel victimised because she was complaining about a (non-existant) deletion and bullying and regard it as further 'evidence'? After all, she said in the initial post "This will probably be deleted". Therefore I think it should stay. Whether the OP will come back or not, I have no idea.

Also, we don't know if the OP has read any posts on the thread today. She may not have seen MNHQ's post, the link to the thread in question or the posts saying they couldn't see any bullying. That's another reason to leave the thread in place, so that she has the opportunity to see those things rather than think this thread has been deleted for being a TAAT.
