To take it with Mumsnet about bullying on here?

Well I've just done it anyway. And this will probably be deleted. I have just found a really old thread of mine from Christmas 2014 that one of HQ people deleted it on the grounds of that Monty is probably rocking around the Christmas tree. I was really distressed at the time and didn't come back to the thread because my laptop crashed. I now have a new one. (a year later) I have posted sporadically between then and now. Fuming.

Yes Usual that's about right. And why shouldn't I? Yes I could let it go, but on the other hand why should I?

Anyway, Mumsnet couldn't find it and are supportive.

Yes I should let it go. However I believe there's a facility to hide threads from particular posters, so I hope that person knows who they are and if my posts piss them off they can after all, just hide me.

Erm. We have found it.
It's not a deletion message just a post in a thread.

We do all understand that we can have a bad day and feel oversensitive but please be assured that we at MNHQ work very hard to keep these boards a great place to hang out and a useful place to seek support and advice.

We try to have a SOH but at HQ are dealing daily with serious issues such as MH, DV and bereavement and sometimes the written word can come across as flippant.

To clarify:

  • it was not DawnMumsnet though we are all equal at Mumsnet Towers. It was another member of HQ making a lighthearted and mildly amusing pun. (wasn't me either, )
  • there were no intentions at all to cast any aspersions about the OP being a troll.

Trust this clears this up
Technically this is a TAAT, but we don't like to close down any discussion of HQ's policy.

Do please continue to report anything about which you are concerned. We read and reply to EVERY SINGLE ONE that comes in.
