to be irritated by people being entitled (some would call it cheeky) when advertising for items wanted?

Just seen one today on a local Wanted board. Someone wants a fairly expensive item and has said "I'm a teacher so would be grateful if I could get this for a low price".

Wtf?

Wtf has being a teacher got to do with it, unless she genuinely believes teachers are somehow more deserving than other folk?

Its been bugging me ALL day it has Grin

We had one recently on our local Facebook Mum's group.
Pregnant young Mum on a tight budget needs baby clothes for baby due soon need to be free and new with tags. If you want them to be new with tags go to the flipping shops. Cheeky mare.

New with tags and free makes me think she's looking for a steal to order thief

We live in quite a good area and quite a few people end up selling on unwanted baby gifts that aren't to their taste or clothes they have bought but baby has grown out of them before buying them. If you have nothing and can't afford it surely good quality clean 2nd hand clothes that many people on the group are often happy to give to someone in need would be fine and she would be lucky to get.

Today on a local selling site

"Anyone got any newborn or tinny baby cloths. For free as no money xxx"

This sort of request is not unusual. Lots of people seem to struggle with planning and suddenly find themselves "havin babz in 3 weks need anyfin no money free stuf plz and need deliver"

Sweeping statement there.
Thinking about the teachers at my school I can only think of about 3 that have had careers before teaching. That's out of 20 teachers.
That is primary school though. I guess university might well be different

Are they not human beings? Fathers? Mothers? Sons? Daughters? Sisters? Etc?
