I'm certainly not a promoter of "natural is better" - I'd be a totally hypocrite if I was Grin

But there is something undeniably tragic about feeling you have to change yourself so dramatically at such a young age.

Plus as attractive as these faces can look when made up and photographed they look ridiculous when seen in the flesh.

Tram10 · 02/01/2016 16:41

She is going to look shocking in a few years, having done all that work to her face.

VertigoNun · 02/01/2016 16:44

I think she has had her chin shaved down, as well as the bum, lip and breast pumping. That is a lot for someone so young.

FayKorgasm · 02/01/2016 16:46

I feel sorry for these girls. Their looks are the only thing people discuss.

Who?

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 02/01/2016 16:49

Botox, nose job and pumped up lips and she is only what 18 and she looks like she has had plastic surgery

I think it's a sad reflection how we view beauty if she is held up as being beautiful. Not sure what to there is to lol about it she was a child when she started to change her face

WindyMillersProbationOfficer · 02/01/2016 16:50

Yeah, lol at thinking a 17 year old girl shouldn't have unnecessary plastic surgery. Having your chin shaved down and your eyebrows lifted is just the same as wearing false eyelashes. How sanctimonious of me.

Pepperpot99 · 02/01/2016 16:53

OP I would be very interested to know what you mean by "she has progressed so much".

In what area or aspect of her life has she 'progressed'?

XiCi · 02/01/2016 16:53

She's had so much work done that she's completely unrecognisable from before. She's so young, it's so sad. God knows what her face will look like when she's 30.

ilovesooty · 02/01/2016 16:53

expat - not just me then. Grin

MistressMerryWeather · 02/01/2016 16:54

Filler injections look stupid on anyone. It's always completely obvious.

However there is something sad about seeing such a young person transform themselves so drastically.

Her mother and father really let her down by giving her permission to start this when she was under 18.

Right now her face barely moves when she speaks, how bad will it be in 10/20 years time?

MuttonDressedAsMutton · 02/01/2016 16:54

So because one of them got famous for a 'taking it up the wrong 'un' video that was 'leaked' online the world has to suffer decades of tedium because a couple of them are vaguely pretty? Is that it? That's what the world aspires to now is it?
Excuse me whilst I go jump off something.

ghostyslovesheep · 02/01/2016 16:55

I'm with Ex and Sooty

Outaboutnowt · 02/01/2016 16:56

But there is something undeniably tragic about feeling you have to change yourself so dramatically at such a young age.

This ^ she is really, really young and has already had so much work done, and there was nothing wrong with her to start with. I have to say it looks to an outsider as insecurity and she has access to plastic surgeons and beauty treatments that I think she will come to regret in a few years time. I think it's too much pressure and competition to be perfect.
Who cares really, about who's prettiest? They're all pretty.
I have to say though, I think kourtney and Kendall, who haven't done much to themselves, do look better than their sisters who look plastic.

TrinityForce · 02/01/2016 16:56

I think she's beautiful.

I agree it's sad how she felt she had to change herself at such a young age, with the media these days I'm not surprised and even sorry for her having to deal with that.

Agree Tali - I do get irritated by the natural is better brigade.
Natural is NOT always better

MistressMerryWeather · 02/01/2016 17:00

OK then, how about being able to register emotion on your face is better?

VertigoNun · 02/01/2016 17:00

I think Kylie has become narcissistic too as a coverup for her insecurity.

Raxacoricofallapatorius · 02/01/2016 17:00

I'd imagine the desperate need to "improve" your looks at such a tender age is fed by people discussing your looks comparatively and unfavourably.

I don't know who these women are but when mentioned, it's always in relation to their looks. I find it deeply unsettling. Presumably, they court media attention but the insatiable appetite we have for dissecting their appearances is symptomatic of a visceral malaise in society today. I work with young adults who are crippled by societal pressures and this is part of what they face.

TaliZorah · 02/01/2016 17:01

Are

It's fucking irritating. Always trying to guess people's motives and projecting onto them.

She wanted plastic surgery, she had it done. She obviously likes it. Good luck to her.

Respect people's choices

Pepperpot99 · 02/01/2016 17:03

They are vacuous, plastic clones the lot of them. Thanks God my own children admire people with something a little more meaningful and of value. To me, the whole family exists as a paradigm for everything repulsive about 21st century popular culture.

MistressMerryWeather · 02/01/2016 17:05

Tali, that is a rather small minded attitude.

You really think there is no discussion to be had as to why a child would want to change herself so much?

That and the fact that so much young girls think that her face is the pinnacle of beauty?

TaliZorah · 02/01/2016 17:08

Mistress

She's a young adult. She obviously preferred a different look and wanted to go for it. I think a lot of it is makeup. I'm SO sick of women who like makeup, fashion, get plastic surgery being slammed.

And young girls aspiring to her is an issue but that's not her fault it's societies for putting celebs on a pedestal
