To ask how often do you shower?

I was talking to a friend about hygiene etc an she seemed horrified that I only shower every other day.

She said that she showers morning and night every day. I don't even have time for that! Or enough bathrooms!! The kids get bathed in the nights that I don't shower and DP showers every night. I find that if I shower every single day, I get dry skin, same with the kids too. So am I really as scruffy, dirty and unhygienic as I now feel?

Every day, and a second time after exercise. I am gifted/cursed with a 'good' sense of smell. People (generally) smell and I find it unpleasant. In my experience a lot of older people who think they don't need to wash as frequently as the used to, actually do, it's just that their own sense of smell has diminished as is normal with age. I imagine most people whose smell I find unpleasant have absolutely no idea they smell to people like me, so I try to ensure I minimize the risk that I am inadvertently imposing my smell on others!

At least once a day. More if I've exercised. I have a sedentary, office job.

Twice a day, sometimes 3, because of where I live. The third time is usually due to my age and the effect its having on me hot flush wise.

My hair is ideally washed ever second day but it can also be done daily for weeks at a time. Its in very good condition but I do go to the hairdressers monthly to have my roots etc done so its trimmed and deep conditioned at the same time.

Every other day ... Unless I'm at the gym.... I've got 3 kids .. It's hard enough keep them clean !!!!

I shower every day, in the morning, maybe twice if I do sport/go to the gym.
Wouldn't dream of going into work not having had a shower beforehand!

Every other day here. I have a wash down on the days I don't shower (so bits and pits with a flannel - which then goes in the wash I know people are funny about flannels here )

Once a day in summer though!!
