To ask how often do you shower?

I was talking to a friend about hygiene etc an she seemed horrified that I only shower every other day.

She said that she showers morning and night every day. I don't even have time for that! Or enough bathrooms!! The kids get bathed in the nights that I don't shower and DP showers every night. I find that if I shower every single day, I get dry skin, same with the kids too. So am I really as scruffy, dirty and unhygienic as I now feel?

I have a brilliant new shower which is a joy to behold and I use it twice a day - love it! In fact we all shower at least once a day - (DH and teens) - can't imagine not starting the day clean and fresh and then getting home from work, bit chilly, hot shower, PJs ... fab

i am quite an oily person all over and if i dont shower, i can smell myself by 11am. i dont smell of sweat though, just a greasy body smell. a wash with a flannel doesn't seem right to me, i like to rinse off in the shower every morning.

DH never really smells, so he can do alternate day showers and wash in between.

Every other morning here, and a bath once a week of an evenin to soak and relax

Before it all starts with the 'my doctor said every day for my eczema' or 'my doctor said not too much' it really can vary. I've had completely different advice from doctors in the past over my skin and I think different things work for different people too. 'Moisturise' is a ridiculous thing to say, as if anyone with dry skin hasn't thought of that already.

Anyway, I shower every day in warm weather and reduce to every other day in cold (but will have extras as needed). My skin isn't a fan of frequent washing.

shower every morning and wash my hair, a bath every night if I feel like it.

probably 3 times a week I will shower and if I go to the gym I of course shower afterwards.

I dont think im particularly smelly. If I am, noones said anything or recoiled in horror

Shower in the morning, bath at night. Sometimes a bath twice a night - once with the dc's then one for some me time.

Always shower straight after a run too.

I would feel horrible going to work on no shower. It's how I wake up!

Normally every evening, but some days I don't find the time / cba.

Every other day unless I'm on my period. Don't use shower gel either. I shave my pits with shaving foam, not sure why I would put soap anywhere else?

I think i must be a smelly bugger i shower every morning and use deodorant yet some evenings i can get a whiff of BO from my underarms. Although i do have a physical job so maybe that's why. I've always showered daily though, even before this job.

Once a month whether I need it or not!

I suffer with very dry skin, which flares up after a shower, so I shower every other day. Unless it's hot weather as I get prickly heat, in which case I shower every day to cool down, sometimes twice a day if it's too hot.

I've found that with age I need to shower less. I usually shower every second morning, or bath in the evening and allays after exercise.,However, at the moment I am pregnant and feel like I need a shower and a bath every day! Bleugh.

Quick shower every morning. Wash hair and longer shower twice a week. Extra long shower on Fridays on my day off when i have the house to myself.

If it's been a very hot day or I've been exercising I might have another shower in the evening, but that would be unusual.

Every day. BUT, I exercise every day and I am perimenopausal and very sweaty.

I had a lovely shower and hair wash this morning. It was the first one since last Saturday.

Every other day too. Its a time and motivation thing. Plus we only have a bath with shower attatchment working at the moment.
