To ask who you'd choose if you were ordered by royal decree to have a torrid affair?

Risk of being thrown in the Tower/put in the stocks and all that malarkey if you refuse.

Today I think I'd go for Ralph Fiennes. Look how pretty he is. Yes he's all tortured and angsty and probably ponders endlessly on his 'craft' (yawwwn) but he's just so alluring.

No doubt he'd be a tad high maintenance in the long run but for an enforced torrid affair I think he'd do very nicely indeed. Plus he's probably into all manner of eye popping sexual shenanigans. And let's face it, what's the point of a torrid affair without some eye poppery. Am I right?

this guy

TiredButFineODFOJ · 27/10/2015 13:36

gatekeeper good call....I think he's played a lot of baddies so it adds to his allure...

Keletubbie · 27/10/2015 13:36

Craig Charles.

(sorry)

MaxPepsi · 27/10/2015 13:36

Oh and I think Mark from DIY sos would be bloody awesome in the sheets! I have a small crush on him which DH thinks is hilarious!

ephemeralfairy · 27/10/2015 13:36

Probably Mark Wright, just for the sordid glamour of a Holiday Inn in Basildon or somewhere.
Or maybe Spencer from Made in Chelsea.

Lottapianos · 27/10/2015 13:37

squoosh, I saw that photo of Ralph Fiennes in the Guardian today and paused to take note of how very hot he was looking. Excellent choice. I just love a man with a beard.

A torrid affair eh? That's quite a prospect! I would probably have to be deathly boring and say the lovely Mr Cumberbatch. Or, at the other extreme of the dishiness spectrum, either of the two main instructors on the SAS program on Channel 4 on Monday nights. They are the dictionary definition of 'hunky'. And beardy Grin

flanjabelle · 27/10/2015 13:38

Tom hardy all the way. get in my bed.

MrsTerryPratchett · 27/10/2015 13:38

Michael Fassbender. I think he's probably not very nice in RL, but a Royal decree? I'd have to.

Gruntfuttock · 27/10/2015 13:39

Abidewithme3 "the one who played Jean Hackmen in life on mars."

I assume you mean Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister)

Lottapianos · 27/10/2015 13:39

Just seen your post Lunchpack- high five for the SAS fans! I can't think of the name of that bloke either but he is indeed yum. I'm more of a Foxy fan myself but wouldn't say no to either of them

catgirl1976 · 27/10/2015 13:39

Tom Hardy and Johnny Depp. With David Gandy popping by occasionally when those two are worn out. Oooh and I think I could fit Alexander Skaarsgard into my busy schedule somewhere.

LunchpackOfNotreDame · 27/10/2015 13:39

lotta hands off the beardy hunks

squoosh · 27/10/2015 13:40

I'm intrigued by the mention of these SAS types. Haven't seen them but their manly allure is calling to me!

LunchpackOfNotreDame · 27/10/2015 13:41

LunchpackOfNotreDame · 27/10/2015 13:41

lotta OK. I get the one I posted about OK

GummyBunting · 27/10/2015 13:42

Hugh Laurie.

Old enough to be my dad? Yes
Do I mind? No

Lottapianos · 27/10/2015 13:43

Yes Lunchpack, that's fair. Enjoy him Smile

Germgirl · 27/10/2015 13:43

I don't normally go for the same type of men as anyone else (long term crushes on Morrissey and Lawrence Dallaglio) but since seeing Legend I'd have to say Tom Hardy. He really is rather splendid isn't he?

squoosh · 27/10/2015 13:44

Hmmmm Lunchpack. He looks a bit like a rugby ref in that photo but maybe his allure is more evident when he's barking manly orders at people.

Ooo yes yes yes to Foxy on the SAS program. Makes me feel a bit peculiar (in a good way).

KittyVonCatsworth · 27/10/2015 13:46

Some really weird ones mentioned...Craig Charles....?? Really?! And Daniel Radcliffe....it just seems wrong! However, my crushes are Tim minchen and rob zombie....very much with the weird bunch!

squoosh · 27/10/2015 13:46

Lotta I couldn't handle a torrid affair with Cumberbatch. I think he'd be all elbows and knees and a a bit apologetic.

Boosiehs · 27/10/2015 13:46

Not normally one for me, but I had a VERY vivid dream about George Clooney last night (pregnancy hormones I think) and that has been all I can think about all day!
