conflict us starting up again. I cannot bear another round of children being killed indiscriminately. The super powers would have you believe that it is all oh so very complicated. its not though is it. It is so bloody unfair how those children will keep dying if the status quo is maintained. Something needs to change.

Abbas was apparently waiving the boy's photo at some conference and saying Israelis killed him. Is that ok?

I just looked now. I was ready to post yes it does but thought i would check again quickly. You are right. It has been changed. When I first read it it states that the group had posted another video of the mother entering the hospital where he died.

Actually crystal, the news feeds have been correcting the story today and late yesterday. there has been a lot of confusion around who stabbed who and who shot who and how. According to NBC, Netanyahu also wrongly declared that a jewish boy had died during attacks.

It is utter chaos there but I suspect it is about to get worse unfortunately. Even more misery for children.

I cannot get over the fact that israel will not return palestinian dead bodies to their families. I wonder if settlers would get the same treatment.

That's very generous of you to offer to fight the Israelis to the last Palestinian child.

Perhaps if I were Palestinian I would question what violence has achieved for me and whether my life would have been better improved had my leaders not rejected the peace deals offered under Barak and Olmert

If not returning the body of a murderer prevents future attacks, I have no problem with it.

There are so many things in the world to get outraged about. What happens to the body of a murderer relally isnt one of them.

Many Israelis do indeed ask that and there is much vocal criticism including many who would like to see a firmer response to the latest wave of terror. Just yesterday I was in Jerusalem and the fear is palpable.

Just like the second intifada was a catastrophe for the Palestinians, I don't see the third achieving anything either.

I don't think not returning the body will make much difference. The answer is political not military or punitive. I just don't really care. Once you go out to stab an elderly man at a bus stop, I think you abd your family lose the right to the hero's funeral you clearly expect.

What if you set a house on fire burning to death the babies inside? Are those people getting a funeral? Will their houses be demolished?

Most certainly the Palestinians have paid the higher price in this conflict.

That's why they would have far more to gain from a peace agreement such as those they rehected rather than starting a new intifada.

What about the 4 Arabs murdered by a 17yr old Israeli this week!? They were just innocent workers minding their own business too. What happens to him??

What about Israeli soldiers who murder defenceless children?

What about the fear of every Palestinian that they may be killed with no provocation by Israeli soldiers?

What about Palestinian children being bombed and blown to bits? I'm pretty sure they don't give a shit about 'peace' deals.

What about settlers who throw people off their land, who refuse to allow Palestinians to harvest,
Who burn babies alive?
