I won't mention names but some of them seem to be popular for....not a lot really. Certain people come to mind who have a reputation for being straight talking and funny but most of the time I don't see it. I find them rather disagreeable tbh. Is it just me?

Dial 101 or go to A&E - it doesn't matter why

ScrambledSmegs · 09/10/2015 12:41

Grin They were lovely, usual. Very polite. DH offered them some cider as we were nearly out of haribo and they declined as they were underage Shock

I don't mind actual xmas at xmas time and not turning it into an event of epic proportions

TantrumsAndBalloons · 09/10/2015 13:20

Yes but don't you know that some people can't afford to pay for Xmas in December so they have to do it through the year starting in January and it's not their fault.

I can't fucking afford to pay for Xmas all in one go.
That doesn't mean I have to start talking about it on Janurary 2nd.

I do love a good trick or treating thread. Especially older kids trick or treating. I'm going to try and get the first "just turn out all your lights, hide in your house and dial 999" on the first thread I see.

[santa] testing, testing...

OOOOOOO!!!

Sorry Maryz. Wink

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 09/10/2015 13:28

To be fair to me I am currently going through the pile of presents that I have been buying through the year because in 35 minutes it will be DS2's 3rd birthday, and the only way I can deal with the present situation is to spreadsheet them - DS1/DS2 and split between birthdays and Christmas, and then those from us, my family, and DS1's godparents. It's a NIGHTMARE so has to be spreadsheeted, so I can allocate the presents to the right event and the right people - argh! Christmas is therefore on my mind tonight, as well as it being my baby's 3rd birthday - waaaah!

Fiderer · 09/10/2015 13:34

What is that weird eyed thing with a red hat? Looks like something escaped from a lab.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 09/10/2015 13:38

It's a secret santa, Fid. At least, I assume that's why all you can see is the eyes, cos it's like Chad, innit.

Fiderer · 09/10/2015 13:41

You sure it's not some foot affliction you need to see the doctor for?

ScrambledSmegs · 09/10/2015 13:42

What's the problem with older kids trick or treating? Have I missed a great MN no-no?
