To think that it's odd that the royal family just brush this under the carpet?

Tbh I don't give much of a shiny shite about the royals generally, but saw Prince Harry on TV this morning and I've been thinking about him today with regards to his questionable parentage. I say questionable but anyone with a pair of eyes can see that he's James Hewitt's son - he's the absolute spitting image of him. Also he looks nothing like Charles or William.

Obviously this has been raised by the tabloids before, but I find it a bit weird that the whole thing is flatly denied by anybody involved even though the truth is staring everyone right in the face.

It raises some interesting questions: surely Harry has a right to know who his father is? If it transpired he was not Charles' son then would he still be a true part of the Royal Family? Would he still be 2nd in line to the throne? It's a right can of worms.

I think it's pretty unlikely because around the time of Harry's conception it was the only time C and D were really getting along well, TBH

In addition two of my kids look a bit like Hewitt but I have certainly not been putting it about.

I love Harry he's a wonderful young man and is a credit to both his parents.

Remember the "mummy" flowers 18 yrs ago yesterday.

Poor show to rub a dead lady's reputation in the dirt and suggest she would pass another mans son off as someone else's.

That looks like three generations to me. Hewitt's face structure is very different. I really cannot see why this persists.

There is no way whatsoever that that boy is not related to Philip. It's absurd! He is his absolute image. Aside from the red hair there is no resemblance to Hewitt, and the red hair came from the Spencers. I have no idea why people are so adamant when it's so very clear Confused

Oh good grief he's Prince Phillip's grandson with Chas Spencer's colouring.
And even if he wasn't then it doesn't actually matter. Wouldn't be the first royal with scurrilous rumours about their parentage.

Hewitt has a round face and very dark round eyes, he is nothing like Harry aside from being a red-head. Whereyouleftit's pic of three generations is a good one.

It's only because of the hair. And why should they talk about it in public? Why is it any business of ours? This topic crops up periodically. Even if they do a 'Jeremy kyle' and it's shown he is actually Charles' the naysayers would never believe it anyway. So what's the point?
