Sorry, I know lots of people cringe at the word Facebook but you don't have to know anything about it to comment, really.

Last Friday I had a miscarriage at 10+ weeks. To cut a long story short, I deleted one of my 'friends' from Facebook because she was always posting about 'need a fucking fag' and people would comment about how their midwives had told them quiting smoking would be more harm than good for their DC, or 'Me and baby girl enjoying a nice cuppa and ciggy' (She is 28 weeks pregnant).

I found her so hurtful and lots of irrational things went through my head, including "why was my baby taken from me, yet she's allowed to remain a Mother?"

Anyway, another friend of mine said I shouldn't have taken her off, and just unfollowed her so I wouldn't see her posts. Thing is though, I found her so shocking, I didn't want her there at all.

Fast forward to yesterday evening, and this is the text she sent me.
Should I have just unfollowed?

Thank you Smile

I'd delete and block her phone number to. Twat of the highest order. What a horrible thing to say. I'd let everyone else know what she said to you.
I am really sorry for your loss hun. I hope you find some peace. HUGS x

AmnesiaSocks · 01/09/2015 09:55

That is one of the most disgusting things I have ever heard one woman say to another. YADNBU.

NotYouNaanBread · 01/09/2015 09:58

She's a bitch, and an illiterate one at that. No loss to you at all.

I am very sorry about your miscarriage.

gabsdot45 · 01/09/2015 15:29

Delightful. What a horrible cow.

BoredAdminGirl · 01/09/2015 15:57

I would add her on Facebook again. Then tag her in the screen shot so everyone can see what an absolute illiterate cunt she is

Celerysoup3 · 01/09/2015 16:09

Ginger - I can't see the problem with exposing the text. If someone chooses to send me a vile text, it's my choice what to do with it. There is no reason for me to shut up and up with it

OP I would let your friends read that text. You don't need to pass comment though.

miaowroar · 01/09/2015 16:23

I certainly think the stirry friend should see the text - and everyone else you think might be sitting in judgement.

Sandbrook · 01/09/2015 17:58

What a hateful bitch.
I agree you should have deleted her, if not before then definitely now.
However, tread carefully in future as someone that disgusting probably would not think twice about making you pay for this.

Sandbrook · 01/09/2015 18:00

Keep the screenshot and if there is any aftershocks from this and anyone else challenges your decision, show it to them and put it to bed.

ItchyArmpit · 01/09/2015 18:05

An astoundingly horrible person. Hope you never have to have contact with her again in RL either.

Heehawheehawheehaw · 01/09/2015 18:12

Delete her

What an absolute bitch , let's hope she finds some compassion at some stage in her life

Vile woman. I'm so sorry for your loss Flowers

She is no loss to your friend list though.

AlwaysOutnumberdNeverOutgunned · 01/09/2015 19:31

Not a friend, of you or anyone I expect. Deadwood chopped, well done & Flowers

travellinglighter · 01/09/2015 19:36

Send her a link to this thread and then block her off your phone as well.

pictish · 01/09/2015 19:40

Yeah she's a fucking horror. I'm sorry that she said that to you. It's not your fault. There is something wrong with her. She is a very mean and extremely stupid.

noiwontstoptalking · 01/09/2015 19:42

I'd be posting that picture on FB and crossing the road to avoid her nevermind deleting her from FB.

movpov · 01/09/2015 21:41

That is a horrendous thing for her to say! Delete this woman from your life and don't give her another thought - she is not a friend. Poor child when she arrives, growing up with that as a mother....

Sorry for your loss OP, look after yourself and surround yourself with people who care about you not someone like this www.mumsnet.com/emo/te/thanks.png

movpov · 01/09/2015 21:45

sorry was trying to post image for flowers - never done it before. Apologies if I've made a mess of that x

FuryFowler · 01/09/2015 23:29

What a horrible excuse for a human being! So sorry for your loss xxx

WoahBodyforrrrm · 01/09/2015 23:34

Wow that is seriously low low low. What a trash bag. I can't believe someone could say that.

I'm so sorry for your loss and hope her baby grows up unscathed by the fact her mother is a c*nt x

WoahBodyforrrrm · 01/09/2015 23:42

And just to add, this thread must hold the record for the most uses of the C-word (rightly so) Flowers
