Vind - I am aghast! No cheeky msg to a thread like that and I missed it!!!!

Cote - thanks for the invite Grin. Busy weekend so I'll take a look next week!

I love books but had to get a kindle quite simply because every room has a bookcase and I've filled them up!

My kindle now has a scary 300 or so on it! Though sadly my old one died so just last week upgraded to the new Kindle Voyage and it's fab :-)

That said I've just ordered Michael Moorcock's Nomads in Time (in proper books as no K editions).

I read them as a teen (BF copy) and loved them - so a few ahem years later am looking forward to a re-read Grin

Can't wait to have another Dune fan on the thread Grin

Just looked up the kindle voyage. I still have the Kindle Keyboard I bought 4.5 years ago. I was taken by "battery lasts weeks, not hours". I charge about once a month Confused

I had the kindle keypad (much loved) but it finally died on me - hence the new purchase :-)

Have to say though, I really like the Voyage!

I saw this quote earlier and thought it appropriate for this thread.

“The problem with today’s world is that everyone believes they have the right to express their opinion AND have others listen to it.

The correct statement of individual rights is that everyone has the right to an opinion, but crucially, that opinion can be roundly ignored and even made fun of, particularly if it is demonstrably nonsense!” Professor Brian Cox

I've just bought 'Dune' for my Kindle Fire. Working my way through some other books at the moment but I'm keen to try it, I love SF.
