Best- Spain
Worst- Belgium.
Strangest- Portugal.

Actually I have been somewhere I hated: Sharm el Sheik. Spent the worst 2 days of my life there. I'd never go back.

Worst: Biarritz in France. Shit hole with some of the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune to meet.

Worst - Gibraltar (WTAF!?)

The only other countries I've travelled to alone were Scotland (Glasgow) and America (New York) and I absolutely loved it

Worst - Spain. Moreover Spaniards. Not a fan.

Worst place Tunisia

Best place Antigua, New York, Hong Kong.

Best - Australia, without a shadow of a doubt!

Worst - Never been anywhere particularly bad but wasn't a fan of Portugal (that goes for Lisbon and places in the Algarve).

Worst: India - there were so many good things about it but the poverty, dirt, cow pats, hassling and feeling unsafe meant I couldn't enjoy it. I think I might go back one day but not for a while.
Also didn't like Singapore.

Best: Iran, Malaysia, Greece, Italy

Best - Barcelona, Venice - great history,great food and great walking cities
Worse - Gibraltar - just didn't get it.

Yes have done some travelling alone in Thailand and Australia enjoyed it.

Worst country : probably France repeated experiences over the years of French people being very rude, including refusing to reply to my sister in French even though she had been living in Paris for a year and spoke ( to my ears reasonable French) also the food in the provinces can be terrible ...

Also bad experience of Kuta in Bali , got hassled & jeered at a lot by men, very unpleasant atmosphere ( but other parts of Island e.g. ubud lovley)

Best : loved, loved, loved India amazing place. Love visiting Italy & Germany in Europe.

Best: Cuba (I lived there and became a Cuban citizen), most of South America (where we live now).
Worst: the UK () or Barbados

I have travelled extensively alone and lived abroad alone for a lot of my adult life (I was a scientist conducting work for overseas governmemts). I don't go anywhere without DH and DS now, but I've been all over the world on my own and loved it.

googoo yep was dull as shit,I was there on my own for a couple of days waiting for a friend. Stayed in a dump of a hostel, got my wallet nicked, and got bored. Had a much better time in Melbourne!

I hated Vietnam. It's all just one road up and down and very controlled where you can and can't go

My favourite places .... Lots for different reasons - china, colombia, Pakistan, Morocco, Cambodia, Greece

Best: Japan, Vietnam and Italy
Worse: I would not want to classify the whole country as bad, but my worse holidays were definitely in Bulgaria and Portugal.

I love traveling alone or with company. Either is fine
