About Angel perfume?

Surely there are others who agree this is what hell will smell like.

I am a perfume-lover and can usually tolerate all the strong ones - Guerlain, Calvin Klein etc. but there is something about this perfume that makes me feel ill. I can smell it a mile-off.

A woman in my office wears it. She is lovely, but I can't stand to be near her, or be in a room she has been in.
I know I am being unreasonable really, but do people really think this smells nice?

It's strange, Angel was the only perfume I ever wore (until I just stopped because I couldn't be bothered) as everything else seemed to scream on me but Angel seemed to 'fit' (what that says about me I don't know) but whenever I smell those powdery/heavy scents like JPG or Boudoir I could plead with the wearer to get down wind or have a shower!

Tom Ford perfumes. Black Orchid. I love Champaca Absolute. It's £££££ so duty free. I love pomegranate noir although know it's a love it or hate it option. Will watch other recommendations as I'd like to get some more different ones but need to be careful with the headache and vomiting thing.

That's funny BMR because I LUUURVE almost all of the Tom Fords but I can't abide Champaca Absolute!

If you like fresh then Eau Dynamisante by Clarins, Cristalle by Chanel, L.I.L.L.Y by Stella McCartney are my faves. I used to love Gucci Envy but they stopped making it, why?????? It was sooOO good.

I mourn the loss of Gucci Envy too.

Can you still but Gucci Envy? My DP used to love that (mens) but i thought they withdrew it?

You can get rare fragrances on Ebay for £££ sometimes, but be careful when they're vintage because unless they've been stored in a cool, dark cupboard or in the fridge, they don't smell as they should when older.

BlueMoonRoses and IsItMeOrIsItHotInHere I love the Tom Ford fragrances, especially Black Orchid, but they´re a bit pricey for me so I just spritz on a load of it whenever I´m in a department store . At the moment, most of my perfume ends up sprayed on my daughter´s dolls so I stick to inexpensive ones!

I had a little birthday/Xmas splurge on DP a few years ago and treated him to THREE Tom Ford fragrances when they very first came out, because I fell totally in love with them and wanted him to smell divine.

We still talk fondly of the time when he actually had some TF to wear and how lovely it was for us both, but sadly budgetary restraints and common sense mean it's unlikely to ever be repeated.

Isitme - you need to have a look on Perfume Parlour,I get all my TF scents from there no way could I afford them otherwise!

I often smell it wafting off of roaming hen parties. My adorable little boy smelled it in duty-free and shyly asked me to start wearing it, thankfully we moved swiftly on and found another.

Green-yes, they make perfumed oils.

I forgot about Gucci Envy!! I didn't like it when I was first given it and it stayed in a drawer for years and then I tried it again which started a mini obsession. The initial scent was very different to the dry down which was beautiful.

You can still buy Gucci Envy on Amazon UK, but buy it when you see it as it comes and goes. I have one on the go and one in storage for when it runs low.
