People are really starting to pee me of with comments about my sons hair. person 1 when you getting his hair cut he looks like a girl. says it often-ish

person 2 omg get his hair cut. why do you make him have long hair. your really making him into someone hes not.

Me: i have had is hair cut....her:but a bob why would you do that.

i just feel like shes rude when her son has his hair cut i say its nice which it is. i think my son suits long hair and he does not have to have it shaved like many boys do. and theses things are said whilst hes there.

I wonder if some boys say they like their hair long because they actually just don't like the process of getting it cut, rather than not liking the end result, IYSWIM

This is definitely the case with my DS1. He is a teenager now and has started to care more about his appearance, but it has been a struggle to find a barber/hairdresser who will do a good job (very thick, wavy hair), and where he feels comfortable. I didn't realise until quite recently that he found the process really embarrassing before.

Personally I dislike long hair on boys/men, but don't comment if someone wants it, each to there own!

I know some boys at my kids school who do have longer hair (think suffer dude)......but not a bob! I understand letting boys have longer hair but not getting it cut into a actual bob!
