I thought that too.

ilovesooty · 07/06/2015 17:30

My father did when I was a child. He was trying to film the lions. They kept announcing our car number and telling him to wind up the window. My mother was furious.

CumberCookie · 07/06/2015 17:31

oh yes silly her, getting killed -_-

What is the point of this thread exactly?

Feminine · 07/06/2015 17:32

Shouldn't you just be sad someone lost their life?
You have to be pretty harsh to start a thread in my opinion.

CaTsMaMmA · 07/06/2015 17:32

people are pricks who think rules don't apply to them

the family of that woman in the US will keep their windows up next time I am sure.

IAmAShitHotLawyer · 07/06/2015 17:34

Of course i'm saddened that someone has lost their life.

Still don't understand how anyone can think it's ok to open their window in those circumstances though.

if that lions then attacks you

00100001 · 07/06/2015 17:35

sympathy = 0

00100001 · 07/06/2015 17:36

no doubt, the family will try and sue the wildlife park Hmm

nocoolnamesleft · 07/06/2015 17:37

I can understand the frustration of a dirty/smeary window impeding the ability to take the best photos of your life. But opening the car window in the presence of lions? Basically, as far as the lion is concerned, someone kindly just opened the tin of cat food.

Feminine · 07/06/2015 17:37

If you are stupid, you deserve to die?
My word...

expatinscotland · 07/06/2015 17:37

And the winner of the Poor Taste Award for 2015 goes to . . .

LaurieFairyCake · 07/06/2015 17:37

It's NOT ok to say she 'deserved to die' Angry

That's incredibly nasty.

CumberCookie · 07/06/2015 17:39

Reported this thread, it is vile.

IAmAShitHotLawyer · 07/06/2015 17:39

So some of you DO think it's ok to drive through a lion safari with the window open? Is that what your saying?

OP posts:
Feminine · 07/06/2015 17:40

I've reported this.
I seriously can't believe anyone could be so cold.

PrawnToast12 · 07/06/2015 17:41

What about those open type jeep cars that they use? Seen those on lots of safari parks. What an awful thread.

Feminine · 07/06/2015 17:41

Yes, lawyer it is just perfectly fine.
I think she has learnt her lesson though eh?

Snoozybird · 07/06/2015 17:41

No, but since when did we hand out death sentences for stupidity? Because that's what you're saying in effect.

IAmAShitHotLawyer · 07/06/2015 17:41

I don't think its vile CumberCookie - I am asking whether people think its reasonable to drive through a lion safari with the window open.

OP posts:
SallyMcgally · 07/06/2015 17:42

Poor woman - RIP.

CumberCookie · 07/06/2015 17:43

No you are not, you are laughing at a dead woman.

LaurieFairyCake · 07/06/2015 17:44

Obviously no one should drive through them with the windows open

IAmAShitHotLawyer · 07/06/2015 17:45

No I am not laughing at anyone. I am genuinely puzzled as to why anyone thinks this is an ok thing to do.
