Just curious. You hear it all the time "if only I knew that when I was younger". Any pearls of wisdom?

Study harder.

Find a form of exercise you really enjoy.

Don't go back to France.

If something looks too good to be true, it is.

Treasure your mum: when she is gone, she is gone for ever.

Piercings aren't a good idea! Take out any you already have, and don't get anymore!

It's possible to "go back to" a dream. If it's not achieved by 20, it doesn't mean you have to settle for a boring office job.
Your life isn't over/you haven't failed if you marry and have kids young. (My mum drilled this I to me from a young age and I went on to be an older mum....no time to have a second). That's my biggest regret.

Now, I have a wonderful second marriage, travel when we can and lead pretty much the life I want.

It seems like the right choice but "doing the right thing" will fck up your family for years to come.
