It's all just sinking in, and the other political threads are too eloquent for what I want to express this morning.

Oh tits. This is rubbish.

OP posts:
TeddTess · 08/05/2015 12:29

have you seen the NHS in Wales which Labour has been in control of???

catontherun · 08/05/2015 12:29

It's democracy, so we all have to just get on with it.

It's the economy.......
Ed M doesn't get it, Ed B certainly doesn't get it, my local Labour candidate doesn't get it.

To put it in NHS terms....
People are frightened to stop taking a thoroughly unpleasant medicine because it appears to be improving the health of company's finances. They are frightened to put the country back in the hands of the same individuals who burned the candle at both ends as far as the country's finances were concerned neglecting the underlying health of the patient to start with so that when a nasty virus struck, it really brought the patient down very low.

The80sweregreat · 08/05/2015 12:30

The only consolation is its not a huge majority. Small consolation.

mrsallergy · 08/05/2015 12:30

Going to have to turn tv off. Can't stomach watching one wealthy privileged person meeting another wealthy privileged person to discuss how to best govern the plebs.

BishopBrennansArse · 08/05/2015 12:31

Why do people hate sick and disabled people, carers and lone parents so much?

The80sweregreat · 08/05/2015 12:31

Mrsallergy, in a nutshell!

AmysTiara · 08/05/2015 12:32

Fuck seems to sum it up well, although I'm cheered by Esther the Evil losing.

Roll on 2020

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 08/05/2015 12:33

That's how it is here, too. I know one person who openly voted Tory. How the fuck did they do it? Someone needs to engage the 3rd of the country who didn't vote and FAST. Tories are not representing the majority AT ALL.

holdyourown · 08/05/2015 12:37

YANBU The next five years will be worse without the coalition. Most people I know voted labour, maybe it's partly generational?

BunnyFint · 08/05/2015 12:39

I woke up this morning and switched on the news. I sat with my head in my hands sobbing when I saw the result. I have a disabled child. I sobbed for his and any other person who has the horrible disadvantage of a disability, having to survive, let alone battle to retain some semblance of a normal life under a Tory majority Government.

My stomach is in knots. If I could describe just how I'm feeling right now in one word, that word would be terrified.

In keeping with the thread,

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck.....

ephemeralfairy · 08/05/2015 12:40

"I warn you not to be ordinary
I warn you not to be young
I warn you not to fall ill
I warn you not to get old"

Fin.

UnoPan · 08/05/2015 12:40

Fuckity-fuck doesn't cover it. Not half way.

The low wage economy we have been having will become the 'deliberately depressed wage economy'. If any Tory tells me that the Tories are "best at economy management" I will know they know diddly squat about how national economies work. Tories sacrifice economic potential for the sake of socially-engineered and economically-engineered poverty and low living standards.

Fuck arse tits cunts

chockbic · 08/05/2015 12:42

Bunny Flowers

feelrejected · 08/05/2015 12:42

*I can only advise those in vulnerable positions and who aren't disabled to begin working for themselves. Seriously...whatever skills you have...and everyone's got something to offer...if you're unemployed, begin working out a way to get an income off your own back...whether it is a combination of babysitting and dog walking, cleaning and ironing, copywriting....whatever you can do do it.

Do not trust this government with your child tax credits or other benefits.*

Thank you MrsNextDoor (genuinely) for this advice.

lilac26 · 08/05/2015 12:45

Hey, chin up, at least Katie's staying now...

thewomaninwhitefluffybunnyears · 08/05/2015 12:46

Can I add a fuckity fuck too? I don't think that we can have too many. So depressing today.

AliceDoesntLiveHereAnymore · 08/05/2015 12:49

lilac no, that's just another reason to say Fuck fuck fuck!

"I warn you not to be ordinary
I warn you not to be young
I warn you not to fall ill
I warn you not to get old"

So true.

Akire · 08/05/2015 12:49

Fuck fuck fuck too. Stayed up till 6am looked bad then. Normally one party winning either way didn't really impact on my life. Now I'm disabled last 5y have been hell with uncertainty and cuts. Now we don't even have comfort of Dave saying "the most vulnerable will be protect like he lied last time.
I really can't see how lower benefit cap especially in London will mean vast vast more numbers forced to leave, creating more shit-holes in pure areas of no work no prospects. Plus anyone who rely on support from system working full time or not better watch out.
Getting income of those at the bottom will increase the cost in other services you can only give people a low income for a short time.
Can only hope when all those people working less than full time jobs or on low pay who now will get sanctioned on universal credit when they can't increase pay will start to see how it feels.
Any hope of s new party coming from this?

ThisFenceIsComfy · 08/05/2015 12:50

I don't want my son growing up here anymore. Help. Fuck shitty fucking bollocks.

Fuck this right wing cunt of a country. Fuck fuck fuck.

GiddyOnZackHunt · 08/05/2015 12:51

Fuckity fuck fuck. Yanbu.

I was really hoping I could change my name today but I might have to keep it for 5 long years.

The80sweregreat · 08/05/2015 12:52

Bunny, i have written this too many times too people on here that are struggling with disabilities, or have family members that have disability problems. I am so sorry. I wish you luck.

butterflyballs · 08/05/2015 12:53

Fuck indeed.

I am in despair.

Our constituency has gone to the Tories. Our lovely lib dem lady is fabulous. The Tory boy who got in, I have no idea where he's come from.

We have no water, heating or toilet, our insurance company are being wanders.

I'm writing today off completely. Fucking arse badgering insurance and fucking bastarding smug faced twatty Tories. It's bollocks.

BreconBeBuggered · 08/05/2015 12:58

Fuck-fuck-fuck ad infinitum. I haven't felt this depressed about an election result for over 20 years.

AliceDoesntLiveHereAnymore · 08/05/2015 13:04

I also have to admit being shocked that UKIP got such high percentages in some areas. IMO the ONLY positive about the Tories is that they are not UKIP. That's it.

TheoreticalOrder · 08/05/2015 13:05

I think people have forgotten what a true Tory government is like.

A very sad day, and some very tough times ahead for many. But not the Eton Twats. It's hard to believe people in this country are so easily fooled, or just so very very selfish.

Fuck sums it up.
