It's all just sinking in, and the other political threads are too eloquent for what I want to express this morning.

Oh tits. This is rubbish.

Aren't they going to start on the self employed now as well? Sanctions on the self employed who aren't working hard enough - that might have been a nightmare I had though.

I don't understand why the tories and the daily mail etc kept saying if you vote labour you'll get the SNP in a coalition, when Ed stated categorically and frequently that he wouldn't enter a coalition with the SNP

Dumdedumdedum · 08/05/2015 12:12

Sorry, do you mind if I join in? I can't vote as have been abroad too long, but am even more devasted today than when I was still a UK voter and Thatcher got in again. Bloody disaster, this is. I honestly thought enough people would have voted for Katie Hopkins to leave the country Sad

Hullabalooey · 08/05/2015 12:13

Agree totally with JuneFromBethesda - Sickened by the thought of 5 more years of looking at and listening to Cameron's smug, "I'm a man of the people" wank-badgery. Aaaargh! (I feel sorry for Clegg, but he should never have got in bed with the Cons.)

Apatite1 · 08/05/2015 12:14

The NHS is lost. Those of us who work for it kind of knew this already and have been preparing for it. This is the final nail on the coffin.

Babyroobs · 08/05/2015 12:15

Ed Miliband has just resigned .

chockbic · 08/05/2015 12:16

Let's hope it's the last we have to see of Cameron, wandering around a hospital, with his sleeves rolled up.

FineDamBeaver · 08/05/2015 12:17

Ipiggle, yes, please chuck it on top of Hulla's wank-badgery donation.

I was depressed even before you mentioned the fracking Sad. Fuck fuck fuck fuck.
If only 36% of the people voted for them, can't we organise a revolution with the other 64%?

The80sweregreat · 08/05/2015 12:18

Hulla, i am dreading him crowing later on. Man of the people my arse!

LapsedPacifist · 08/05/2015 12:18

This was the 9th general election I have voted in. And the first where I now feel genuinely afraid of the future Angry

chockbic · 08/05/2015 12:19

He is the man of some people. The privileged and selfish ones.

Babyroobs · 08/05/2015 12:19

So many people upset at the result, who on earth voted for them ?

stinkyfluffycat · 08/05/2015 12:19

THEY ARE SO EVIL. (Sorry, at home with no - one to rant at)

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 08/05/2015 12:20

I am consoling myself slightly with the fact that Labour increased their share of the vote here, even though it was Mrs 'Kill the Poor' Cuntypants that got in.

MrsGentlyBenevolent · 08/05/2015 12:20

It's am unmitigated disaster. Thing is, I've come across only one person who openly voted for them in real life. Most people feel shocked and depressed at the result, including myself. I'm lucky, my area was safe labour, and the constituency next door actually turned labour from tory. But yes, my reaction this morning was 'oh fuck Angry'.

The80sweregreat · 08/05/2015 12:21

Stinky, rant to us on here

stinkyfluffycat · 08/05/2015 12:21

Nanyroobs I don't know. Surely there are more normal people than rich people in the country. And surely not all the rich people want evils cunts in charge. And yet apparently, some people, somewhere, voted for them.

WyrdByrd · 08/05/2015 12:21

It is genuinely terrifying to think of another 5 years under the Tories, but perhaps this might be the kick up the arse we all need to drop the apathy and start fighting this bullshit.

"Pick yourself up & continue the fight" - I'm not a huge fan of Ed Milliband, but can only agree with him on that.

chockbic · 08/05/2015 12:21

Not all bad, Esther McVey lost her seat in Wirral.

stinkyfluffycat · 08/05/2015 12:24

Babyroobs, sorry. Too enraged to type.

soontobemumofthree · 08/05/2015 12:24

I feel kind of relieved! Know I am not majority view! I probably shouldn't be on this thread.
Wasn't there talk of Conservative-DUP coalition or Conservative-UKIP.
Conservatives will struggle with slim majority and won't be elected next time. Although I hold lots of labour principles I just seem to disagree with a lot of what they do/policies.

I would prefer a politician who has a true ideological belief in something and an active plan. Rather than any of the bland /calculated career answers conservative/ labour seem to give.

mrsallergy · 08/05/2015 12:25

Smug bloated pasty-faced twatting twat.

The muzzle's off the dog now.

Smoothyloopy · 08/05/2015 12:25

I may of added a fuckity fuck but otherwise share your sentiments

Superexcited · 08/05/2015 12:27

I have some people on my Facebook friends list who voted Tory. I have seen them gloating about the results and saying how thrilled they are because they don't want a Labour Party who will just encourage people to be lazy and good for nothing's and get money for nothing.
I'm going to have to have a clear out of my Facebook friends list as I can't associate myself with people who have no compassion for the poor, the sick or the vulnerable.

BitOutOfPractice · 08/05/2015 12:28

Would this clip cheer you up a bit?
