To vote Tory to stop UKIP?

My constituency is a marginal. Current polls show 36% Tory, 33% UKIP, 18% Labour 10% LD, with a +/- 3% margin of error.

My personal preference would be Labour, but if I vote for them UKIP might take the seat.

Even though I hate the very idea of voting Tory, AIBU to vote for them anyway just to keep UKIP out?

Another one here living in a seat hotly contested by UKIP. I've never in my life voted tactically until this time round - I have voted Tory (usually I vote somewhat further left) as it really is the only viable alternative to UKIP - it's usually a very safe Conservative seat.

I've kind of resigned myself to it tbh, I don't really like it but as far as I can see if enough people do the same then we will end up with the lesser of two evils.

I live in a typically labour seat that's now a UKIP target seat. Our Ukip mp has been slaughtered in the press recently. I will definitely be voting labour as will most people who are against u kip, it's a two horse race.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed Elaine, let's just hope people get out and vote.

Yes apparently it is close so there is some hope. Still worrying tho. UKIP are absolutely desperate and will do all it takes. You can't move with the sheer amount of their poison propaganda all over our town.
