AIBU that whoever came up with this bollocks?

When my 3 month old sleeps I wash up, eat, have a brew, hang out washing or put washing on, have that shit I've been holding in for the last 3 hours, brush my hair, brush my teeth, put some clothes on that aren't pyjamas, have a wash, put the tea on, ....etc

Does anyone else actually sleep wen their LO sleeps?? (night doesn't count!)

I tried once and they started digging up the road outside my house (the only time in 8 years they've done that!) So I gave up and dd woke up anyway. It's even more hilarious when you have dc2 as you can't nap when baby naps or you'll be leaving a toddler unsupervised!
My Hv was shocked that when she came to visit I was dressed - it was 11am and I'd taken dd1 to nursery for 9am then been to a friend's for coffee with dtds before Hv visit. She seemed to expect me to be in my pjs totally stressed out (in fairness dtds were prem so slept lots as newborns).

kelly1814 dd1 was like that. When she reached 3 we decided we could cope with 6 months of no sleep so had our second pg - twins! We thought it would be horrendous but actually they loved sleep. Even now they're 3 dtd1 asks to go to bed! Very different to dd1!
