Could I vote UKIP.... if it would regenerate my town?

We have a failing town, the last bank has left, we still have a post office, and a couple of other shops, and there is a little car park there, where they charge you as soon as you get there.

We (me and my friends) think that if it was free for a couple of hours we would go in and get stuff, maybe go to one of the cafes there, but no, as we can get free parking in the nearest (slightly bigger) town, we just go there.

I was talking to a local shop owner who is up for election on the local council - he said he wants to sort the parking, but cannot run on the lib/green/lab/cons side as they are all in the 'keep parking charges' for various reasons. He said he is going in as UKIP as he would never get in as an independant. I dont think i could bring myself to vote UKIP though....

Oddly enough, what you are saying isn't UKIP policy. UKIP recognise the need for immigration and the benefits it brings to the UK; they want it more tightly controlled, not stopped altogether. UKIP doesn't have an officially 'racist' line but it tends to attract the frothers (such as yourself) and racists, so it gets tarred with that brush. Last person I met who was going to vote UKIP told me the reason was that 'they'll deal with all the n*gers'. That does seem to be a fairly typical UKIP voter, in my personal experience.

Looking on the bright side, he/she may be a racist but at least they were being honest about it. It's the ones who say "I'm not racist but we have to send 'them' home" that are even more sickening.

Ah yes, Orwell would have had no difficulty recognising UKIP for what they are.

Love are reading leftie above. If you had the Brains to read my words, you would understand that I was stating that everyone is naturally Racist. Why would you put another culture before your own? Why would you feed your neighbor before you feed your own family? Everyone discriminates one way or another it is not criminal to do so. Although you looney lefties will pick fault with every little thing and call everyone a Racist just because they have a different point of view to your own. Yes I will admit that I put my own race before other Races and I am proud to say it. However that does not mean that I don't have friends who are foreign to this Country. I also treat everyone with respect. (except looney lefties like yourself) I am saying that if we allow Migrants into our Country, they must abide by our Laws and respect our culture. If they don't want to, then they can go back to where they come from. And all those like yourself I would send with them.

Honestly, if I won the lottery, I'd pay for Peter to give a speaking tour on behalf of UKIP, with the sole proviso that he did not censor himself or his views in any way. (I'd also forbid him to hire a proofreader for his leaflets.) He's a priceless advertisement for the utter daftness of That Kind Of Thing.
