whilst attending my best friends wedding today in a little village I was horrified to see that gypsies had taken over the school playground. There was rubbish all over the floor, children and dogs running all over the place and scantily clad women puffing away.
why a school playground, these people have no morals. The poor caretaker is going to have his work cut out for him as there was at least 15 caravans! Angry

You can always hide the thread helpmekeepstrong.

My guess is that it would work a lot better than trying to tell people what they can and can't post on it...

helpmekeepstrong · 09/04/2015 18:57

It doesn't seem trivial, where did I say it was trivial? Far from trivial. You have obviously had some horrible experiences and I do feel for you. It's just a part of the problem though and a lot of this thread has been obsessed with it.

helpmekeepstrong · 09/04/2015 19:01

Why would I hide the thread? It's interesting and I've read 17 pages of it. I don't tell people what they can and can't post, but I wouldn't be the first person to tell someone to re-focus. You might do just that Worral... you're quite forthright yourself.

I do get it Helpkeepmestrong but you know

Shit happens

Puzzledandpissedoff · 09/04/2015 19:18

I don't tell people what they can and can't post

Really? And yet you said that people should "stop with the shit ... get over the shit" Hmm

This isn't my personal view, but I can't help wondering what your reaction would have been if someone posted "stop with the victimhood - get over the victimhood" ...

PeachyPants · 09/04/2015 19:20

helpmekeepstrong I doubt you'd be saying "Get over the shit!" if you were the one having to clear it up, clearly it's not the only issue but on a thread about the mess created by some travellers it is a pretty important issue, please don't be so dismissive of other people's experiences.

GoodbyeToAllOfThat · 09/04/2015 19:20

helpmekeepstrong the takeaway for many people on this thread will be a traveler advising people to "just get over" the human waste they leave behind.

helpmekeepstrong · 09/04/2015 19:50

GoodbyeToAllOfThat The thread has raised some important issues and I think lead to a greater understanding. I meant to say, get over the one issue of 'Bag it up and bin it.'
