I do have this problem sometimes.
If I was just randomly browsing for nice clothes, I'd be able to find loads of stuff I liked, of course.
But usually when I am shopping for the DC, I need something very specific to replace something that's been grown out of or is full of holes - a hooded top, a multipack of tights, a waterproof jacket, a new pair of wellies - and I often find I struggle to find something. (I do think when you try and buy out of season you often end up with a choice of either pink with glittery hearts or black with skulls designs.)
I don't mind pink particularly, though it is nice to have a choice. I do mind pointless slogans, horrible appliques or pictures and Disney princesses. Or in fact I mind characters in general. I hate camouflage and animal prints.
(And if anyone can find me a child's cotton (not fleece!) hooded sweat top, without a zip, without a meaningless slogan, that isn't pink, and isn't from the boy's section, please tell me where you found it so I can buy one for DD!)
