To think Tory voters have no moral compass and empathy

Firstly I'm not labour I follow politics but can not think of a party I really relate to.

Anyway every article I read the book I'm reading has made me come to that conclusion. I'm currently reading a book by Owen Jones which has really opened my eyes.

The fact that anyone with below £10 mil in their account can vote for them is beyond me.

But why would anyone vote for a party that bashes the disabled the poor and anyone outside of their Etonian elite. The only people that would want a party and policies like this have to have no empathy.

The Left are the ones that make the poor suffer. No Left wing party in the UK has ever left office with unemployment lower than when it took office or debt reduced.
Real gains in living standards for all happen under centre right governments, in this country and all over the world.

I totally agree carol in that the left are never able to balance the books.
And let's be realistic, the Tories are really NOT that right wing.
The 'left wing' American Democrats are more right leaning than the Tories are.

As far as I can tell it was the last left government that screwed up the whole country with multiculturalism, started wars, pissed tax payers money up the wall, brainwashed people with political correctness, nearly bankrupted the country, created this "human rights" mess, opened the flood gates to uncontrolled immigration etc. etc.

Tony Blair and his wife seem very money grabby to me.

OP You can talk about labour they are just as bad.

If you are Tory and concerned about the economy than your happy with income inequality being higher than ever and Cameron and friends (plus Inlaws and his own father) avoiding tax I question your sanity.

Honestly your okay with rich getting richer and poor getting poorer.

I'm a teacher I have had a real term pay cut of 13% since 2010. Disputes me not causing the financial crash.

And I stand by my opinion that Tory voters have no moral compass as it is unclear to me why even if the economy was brilliant (it is not) why anyone with a heart would vote for the nasty party. You don't get that nickname for no reason

Sorry, but I think you are being a little economical with the truth. No way are you a teacher, or someone who has completed university level education. I'm not saying that out of snobbery, but as a result of your lack of very basic good spelling and grammar, but more worryingly your level of thinking and reflection. You simply wouldn't be able to pass the exams and assignments, and would be sacked for gross misconduct. You could probably improve that by taking steps to get a better education (adult learners, pathways into education, etc) or reading some of Twinkle's excellent list of political literature, which would give you a very balanced overview of all sides of the political spectrum. But I think that would probably be a step too far in terms of focussed concentration for you, as you have never learned the discipline to take into account views which challenge your own.

But no-one with any moral compass bases an argument on nicknames, insulting people and having no self awareness.
