To ask if anyone is setting up a fb page to discuss Tricky Dicky?

It seems we are not allowed to speak about anything negative elsewhere. Please do not speak badly of Tricky Dicky and co.

I hope the irony is not lost on MNHQ that a number of the concerns raised on the thread were about the aggressive censorship imposed by tricky dicky.

I have fb selling profile and I was looking at the page whilst he was zapping someone who asked a genuine question

Weird decision - I don't think the comments were personal. Perhaps on the first thread but not this one.

It is so annoying that they deleted it. Far, far worse has been allowed to stay.

I think a facebook page would be good. I am sure there are many people outside mumsnet who feel the same.

If they have got professional PR involved, it can't be very good - the main players still have their FB pages wide open.

It stinks as far as I'm concerned, hugely disappointed in MNHQ.

Hardly surprising the thread was negative. There are two people involved who yes have had a prem baby and yes are far from home but who are also perfectly happy to take whatever cash people will chuck at them with the whole farrago being co-ordinated by a total git, a racist, and from what I could see probably, misogynistic git at that.

I was following the previous thread but missed this being deleted or the suggestions of a scam. Can anyone (obliquely) explain the concerns about fraud? TD is certainly not a very nice sort of chap but i didn't see the concerns about fraud before. Obviously the FB page in question is all very positive, except when they talk about the 'haterz'.

Yes please, set up tricky dickies dodgy dealings.

I could see why posts commenting on, for instance, the parents' appearance needed to be zapped. By the vast majority of the thread concerned the actions of their so-called friend and in particular very legitimate concerns that people were being led to give money under false pretences.

What is really a matter of concern is that said friend was regularly deleting Facebook posts with legitimate questions about what is going on, and now MN is doing exactly the same.

so, it's not ok to suggest that a fundraiser is not above board and that people are being exploited, but it's ok to call katie hopkins a cunt? perhaps we would have done better if we'd just suggested that tricky dicky was a cunt then? or a dick?
