DH thinks a traditional fry up should be served without beans. I think it's not a proper fry up without some kind of moisture.

Who's right?

Vegetarian sausages, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes grilled with olive oil and basil, fried eggs, granary bread with salted butter and BEANS :D

Veggies have no place on a fry up thead. Sorry, but you made your choice so stroll on!

People have some odd perceptions of vegetarianism. No frying, you say?

Yes to beans but with a spoonful of butter and a dash of worcestershire sauce. Do not allow to boil (to avoid dry middles), and w/shire sauce takes away the sweetness. I prefer tinned toms to beans but only naice ones where the sauce is thick, not watery and seeping.
