We were supoose to get paid yesterday, were given a load of excuses by the account eg "I only process on a Monday now payment will be after". Today there is still no payment in my account. I have no gas, no food and need to get the last of my Christmas shopping.

It's not base transfer, we've had issues before where she hasn't paid until the Thursday (fortnightly pay on a monday). I've emailed and text my boss but no reply. Aibu to feel angry and let down, I work so hard, cover when I can etc.

Youarerealbonkers - Yes, you're being spiteful and you're out of order. Lots of people survive from one pay packet to the next and if one is late whichever way they cut it they're in trouble. You obviously don't have this problem. Aren't you lucky? Now stop picking on people who do.

Was it a long interview? Did it seem to be over quickly? Did you answer the questions fully? Did you get on (notwithstanding the above)?

45 minutes, managed to answer his questions [without licking his face] and ask a few about the role company etc.

It wasn't dreadful, I just must have looked like a bumbling idiot. OH why am I so awkward. I was miranda.

You need your closing questions to ascertain how it went.
Always end your questions with these 2:-

LAST QUESTION: Now you've had a chance to get to know me, do you have and concerns about my ability to do this job?
LAST LAST QUESTION: can we discuss them and see if they can be overcome? (this one, only if required)

They are your 2 killer questions. Puts them right on the spot and gives you an idea of what they think of you and your skill set!

My fingers are crossed too, but don't assume your nerves will have killed your chances. If you managed to answer everything and ask some questions of your own, you'll be doing better than quite a few people already. I say this as someone who has been on interview panels, btw. And lastly, we once employed the most nervous, sweatiest candidate of the lot, because all her answers were spot on, nerves or no.
