Least Professional Moments of My Illustrious Career is pure gold. I'm actually laughing out loud all alone in my kitchen (when I should be working...)

Has anyone mentioned rivers of sweetcorn yet from Ellaroo?

That was quite the talking point when I joined :)

Lweji · 03/12/2014 15:23

I suspect this one has the makings of a legend: My snail has left its shell...

FruVikingessOla · 03/12/2014 15:48

One of the funniest - and legendary - threads I read was about a stroller/buggy. It wasn't a long thread, but .....

The OP had started a thread about a stroller/buggy asking for other opinions. Three years later, and not a single reply, she returned to the thread and answered herself. (In those days you couldn't highlight your own posts). The funniest thing was that her NN was so apt!

What about the MNer who used to write "Fucker" or something like that on (wild, not pet) snail shells, when she was younger? She was always worried about her parents seeing it.

nilbyname · 03/12/2014 16:12

The one about the lady with all the animals and the little bird called Grahame? That was hilarious and lovely.

The soft play party where the host was charging £20/head for a kids party!

mix56 · 03/12/2014 16:22

Remind me what I am Canadian was all about... Remember it was good. Don't remember details

ErrolTheDragon · 03/12/2014 21:43

I've spent pretty much the entire evening reading the 'Angela Hernandez' thread (which I only started reading to find out who she was...) and have had to stop for a break at the photocopied scrotum.

Apart from being a great thread, some of the names there are a blast from the past. (I suppose some of them may still be here but NC'd, I didn't used to be a dragon back then)

Mintyy · 03/12/2014 22:47

LoisHatesChristmas
Hello, if you're still watching, I've searched for the stripping at the wedding thread and sadly I think it is no more Sad.

Op's name was KittyLette. If you do a search for "burlesque" in 2007/2008 you'll see lots of references to it but the thread itself seems to have gone.

LoisHatesChristmas · 03/12/2014 23:05

Ach thats a shame but thanks for looking Mintyy Maybe it will catch on and I will catch a live show atvthe next wedding I go to!Grin

FestiveElf · 04/12/2014 10:59

Sorry for the hijack, but although this is not legendary, I love it "What did your new Reception child do today?"

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 04/12/2014 11:12

IIRC - I am Canadian

Woman and Husband want to emigrate to Canada. People are pointing out visa requirements etc. Woman keeps banging on about how they are hard working etc and Canadians are not. SGM politely points out that Visas are not so easy obtain etc. OP says how Brits are preferred to Canadians as Canadians are lazy workers etc and that SGM clearly doesn't know much about Canada
SGM reply
I AM CANADIAN

SANTABankWadgerHAT · 04/12/2014 11:41

HoneyDragon. She's broken MN, immaced her baby, pooed herself in public. ..

Bear MNHQ try to tell us he never had a Santa hat. That is a lie. He did. My first Christmas on MN I posted him in his hat and can still find the post.

Penguin park date and penguin on the train .
