So, having a coil fitted in a few weeks. Went to the surgery today to have the swabs taken.

There I am, in the glamourous smear test position, when the nurse pipes up 'ah yes, a nice central cervix'.

What?! So this is a good thing? Must remember to update my LinkedIn profile...
I was, naturally, flattered by this. I almost thanked her and blushed.

Anyone else got a gynaecological humble brag...?

In town with newborn ds 9lb 11oz and Im 5 foot 4 and then (sob) 8.5 stone.

Old lady looks me up and down.

"Well you must be big on the inside"

I was told by my midwife that I should be induced at 39 week as she felt ds would be too big for me to give birth naturally

I was induced at 42 week had to have an emergency C-section

when I saw my mw she said I knew he was too big for you to deliver he was 8'4 so not huge

I like to think it is because I have a neat small foofoo but know it has nothing to do with that

Mine is not a compliment but when I had dc5 the midwife exclaimed loudly to the doctor outside the door (um privacy anyone??) " wow that's amazing no wonder she's never had any tears or stitches it's just hanging open ready!"
To this day I am conviced I have a hideous hanging vagina even though my husband assures me it's very pretty....

During my last smear the nurse told me I had an excellent pelvic floor. I was so proud

The next door neighbour's pregnant daughter told her doctor she thought she would need a c-section as she was small down there. He roared with laughter and told her she could get a double decker bus down there!

The nurse was struggling to get the speculum inside during a smear and huffing and sweating she commented 'you have good muscles!'
