Romeo Beckham gets £45 grand for a days work.

How much does this family need. Burberry have paid 12 year old Romeo £45.000 for one days work modeling. I don't wear Burberry myself but if I did that would probably put me off ever buying it again. How far will this family go for publicity and money. Small change to them though. But isn't there something wrong when a 12 year old gets in one day what it might take most of us a year or two to earn?

ourbaby, I take back my calm down and give you a fuck right off, your comment about the op getting back to a council estate was bang out of order, who made you god about putting people back in their place?

sheesh

ourbabybeau · 12/11/2014 19:40

So because im basically saying what the OP is saying but in reverse- i'm trolling? Right. OK.

I stand by what I say. Maybe the OP doesn't know what hard work is because she sits on her arse all day watching Jeremy Kyle.

She is entitled to her opinion. I'm entitled to mine.

It's no more sickening than the whole concept of royalty. It's laughable that people go on about how lacking in talent VB is and how they are sick if seeing her yet The Cambridges are to be fawned over? Yes because they are so brimming over with talent and exhausted from hard work! Hmm

ourbabybeau · 12/11/2014 19:41

And I believe I said "little witch". Just FYI.

TheLovelyBoots · 12/11/2014 19:41

Lovelyboots - I'm not going to comment on his looks - he's a kid FFS

There's absolutely no harm in saying that he's a perfectly pleasant, normal looking child - not a model. He looks like 100 children that I would pass in the corridors of my kids' school every day.

Bowlersarm · 12/11/2014 19:41

Please stop having a go at ourbaby it's becoming a pack mentality.

TheLovelyBoots · 12/11/2014 19:42

Well, she is pretty unhinged.

Thebodynowchillingsothere · 12/11/2014 19:42

The fact that tax payers money fund the ludicrous prince Andrew, Edward and their brood and royal cousins concerns me far more to be honest. Because we fund the idle twats.

TSSDNCOP · 12/11/2014 19:43

Yes, if those kids go to Beverley Hill 90210 Grin

NancyJones · 12/11/2014 19:43

Yes you did. I stand corrected.

RabbitOfNegativeEuphoria · 12/11/2014 19:44

I don't think it's helpful or relevant to say there are better looking kids. Burberry wanted that kid. Presumably for his looks as well as his name and possibly his demeanour too.

If the campaign isn't successful then they won't use him again. If it is then either they will use him or other brands will pay more. Or he will decide it's not for him and either do something else or concentrate on his schoolwork.

Thebodynowchillingsothere · 12/11/2014 19:45

ourbaby it's fine to disagree but personal attacks arnt allowed and you will get deleted and banned.

Just so you know.

LadyLuck10 · 12/11/2014 19:45

Good for him, I don't understand why people are so jealous especially the op. Someone had to get the job, so why not him.

ourbabybeau · 12/11/2014 19:47

Wait...again. Isn't what the OP doing a personal attack? And a personal attack on a CHILD?

Thebodynowchillingsothere · 12/11/2014 19:48

his mother as a role model is far too thin

Very judgy. She may just be thin. So what anyway? Comments on women's bodies are unfair.

I think it is. As perverse as the modeling industry might be, it used to be a marketplace of improbably beautiful people - impossible to infiltrate on the back of family connections. The rise of the Child of the Famous Person is just tedious.

Bowlersarm · 12/11/2014 19:49

Judging by this thread, the campaign will be successful (discussion, bringing the product into the forefront, many people will be looking at Burberry whether critically or not)

Thebodynowchillingsothere · 12/11/2014 19:51

Not really baby yours were more directed and personal to other posters and some bit back too.

Just saying there's line. I have crossed or too in the past so just letting you know.

TheLovelyBoots · 12/11/2014 19:51

And, I'm really not jealous. Honestly. I "like" the Beckhams as much as I can any celebrity - this lapse of judgement aside.

TheLovelyBoots · 12/11/2014 19:56

Probably so. A side-effect of a "celebrity culture" (a term I would love to never use again - sorry) rather than a ratification of RB as a model, I think.

WalkingInMemphis · 12/11/2014 19:57

My husband has a very good job- and because he is quite a bit older than I am and was established with his business- he was able to pull a lot of strings and provide funding for me to do the same thing which has proven very successful. What people who don't know me see is a spoilt brat who got with a rich man so she could make money. What they don't see is the girl who is in tears after a 80/90 hour week, the girl who is completely and utterly devoted to her husband

This is relevant how? Hmm

I don't even understand what point you're making.

TheLovelyBoots · 12/11/2014 19:58

Some people will make anything about them, that's the relevance.

KimHollywood · 12/11/2014 20:03

Good move by Burberry. The brand was dead in the water a few years back.

Having Cara and Kate model for them and now Romeo will work amazingly well for them.

Who cares how much they get paid?

whois · 12/11/2014 20:05

I actually think the beckhams are some of the better 'celebs' out there who have actually worked dam hard and behaved in the whole quite respectably.

And that boy is amazing looking, he's going to be breaking hearts all over the place in a few years.

LePetitMarseillais · 12/11/2014 20:09

Erm VB didn't come from nothing. Her father had his own company and drove her to school in a Rolls Royce.

She had a fair few millions and contacts to start her fashion business with.

Just sayin.
