Mum changing shitty nappy in ladies

ProudAS · 20/09/2014 13:03

I just went to the loo in a restaurant to find a mum had just changed her DC. The used nappy was on the floor with poo visible. She did get rid of the nappy (in the sanitary bin) but not the smell.

The smell made me retch and feel sick. AIBU to think she should have used the baby changing room next door?

It doesn't make people thick, liver. I read the username as Proud As, as in "proud as punch" or something like that.

I agree that this thread has been lacking some compassion when the OP explained that she has Asperger's.

But people who don't know people in RL with all of the thousands of health problems people can sadly suffer from can't be expected to automatically understand what issues someone might be struggling with without any explanation at all.

I really liked the essential oils on a hanky tip. You could just pretend you're blowing your nose.

Yes Aspergers is so handy to have, as an excuse. Or err it's a real condition which causes people real problems.

What's your excuse for being so insensitive?

icanmakeyouicecream · 20/09/2014 21:47

I knew you would pipe up fanjo Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 21:47

Oh, you were goading?

Happy to pipe up if people are being horrible

icanmakeyouicecream · 20/09/2014 21:49

Oh, no I wasn't goading. I was saying what I think.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 21:50

Ok, well I won't say what I think, in interests of not having pointless bunfight

MoominKoalaAndMiniMoom · 20/09/2014 21:52

ican there's a big difference between saying what you think and singling out an individual poster, for the massive crime of posting on a thread.

hazeyjane · 20/09/2014 21:53

Describing being autistic as 'an excuse' is fucking horrible and disabilist

icanmakeyouicecream · 20/09/2014 21:56

Yes let's relax, it's a Saturday night. No need for a fight or a pigeon call. In regards to the thread, don't put it out there if you're not willing to defend/debate it or have people comment on how unreasonable you are.

trufflesnout · 20/09/2014 21:58

"these days" ffs. Because the Autistic Spectrum was invented by hippies.

ican your views are so backwards it's unreal

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 21:59

I agree, if you put it out there you have to be prepared for some posters to be mahoosive dicks

icanmakeyouicecream · 20/09/2014 22:00

You're all projecting. Read into it what you like and enjoy getting your knickers in a twist Grin

Missunreasonable · 20/09/2014 22:01

I have a son with ASD and I didn't see anything in OPs username. I thought it was 'proud as something'.
My son gets upset about lots of normal things but it doesn't mean that other people are being unreasonable and shouldn't do normal things like leaving poo smells in toilets.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 22:02

You'd enjoy it if my knickers were twisted, but they aren't, sorry

trufflesnout · 20/09/2014 22:02

Projecting what onto what, ican?

icanmakeyouicecream · 20/09/2014 22:03

I agree fanjo, if you put it out there be prepared for people to disagree or challenge you. I like being challenged and I like a debate. Being challenged or asked my views sometimes empowers me to learn other peoples perspective. Depends on the topic of course! I do feel that in this instance, despite OP's challenges she was being unreasonable. A little baby's needs wouldn't triumph anyone else's in my world.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 22:06

Somewhat sad to bring up someone's posting history. I cringe for you slightly

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 22:06

Am off to bed, so continue goading if you want. I won't be seeing it. Or caring

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 22:07

Imagine posting on threads about autism when my child has it. Good god, how weird of me

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 22:07

Have a nice evening :)

icanmakeyouicecream · 20/09/2014 22:08

I've not searched for you this evening, today or ever, I Just remember your username from certain threads. I'm sure you remember the same names too sometimes when certain topics come up.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 20/09/2014 22:09

Yes but I don't use it so some pathetic PA.

Night night :)
