No gloating.
No blaming.

Just appreciation for a huge turnout and a peaceful process.

EarthWindFire · 19/09/2014 22:43

Hi Wyona. I think shattered about covers it

Wynona · 19/09/2014 22:44

I know the weather is very odd right now. Steamy hot, flooding, then sunny

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/09/2014 22:44

Yeah, pretty exhausted here too. Not sure how I'm still awake!

WildThrong · 19/09/2014 22:45

No-ones watching my special video!

Celticlass2 · 19/09/2014 22:45

Glad to hear that SC. I haven't heard any BT people distance themselves from these repulsive arseholes, which is really scary.
Apparently, they are attacking anybody who is 'foreign' looking because they can't tell who the 'Fenians' are.
Why are they being allowed to do this?

Celticlass2 · 19/09/2014 22:46

Just seen lots if rangers fans in the crowd. No surprise there then!

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/09/2014 22:49

I know last week there was a very strong "they are nothing to do with us" vibe - although from what I could tell it seemed to pass very peacefully thank goodness.

It sounds like tonight is a bunch of idiotic yobs - probably some football/sectarian nonsense mixed in. I can't decide if it should be denounced as not part of BT or if that is just giving the idiots more credit and publicity than they warrant.

WildThrong · 19/09/2014 22:51

Yeah, shouldn't give then the oxygen of publicity. Not even on here. Arrest the lot of them and sling then in the cells.

Wynona · 19/09/2014 22:52

It seems that there is likely to be a lot of change coming for us all

rootypig · 19/09/2014 22:52

I don't think they care about publicity. The violence is enough for them, always has been.

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 22:52

WT sorry - I'd love to, but my laptop is on it's way out, it just wont cope!

Celticlass2 · 19/09/2014 22:53

Will you all stop with the pictures of Tommy. I'm feeling rather queasy already, and this is not helping. Grin
Goodnight all.

StatisticallyChallenged · 19/09/2014 22:54

I'm not sure if they do or not rootypig. I just don't want to do anything that gives them validity. They are thugs.

WildThrong · 19/09/2014 22:55

Ha, Latte, believe me, you wouldn't cope either. in a nice way Grin

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 23:02

LOL WT probably not Grin

Wynona · 19/09/2014 23:03

Out of interest dowe all see the same adverts on mn? I am seeing a pink bottom.

Iggi999 · 19/09/2014 23:05

I couldn't see a video just a rather nice man in his skuddies. Fortunately it wasn't Dave, Alex or Alistair Smile

hiimangelafernandez · 19/09/2014 23:05

evertonmint I agree.

I'm English, have Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish grandparents and great grandparents.

If the Scottish or anyone else want to be Independent then that is their right. If independence had happened today I wouldn't have been surprised or disappointed. I'm actually happy though as I feel we are one people, when Westminster says we have a 'special relationship' with America, actually no, we have a special relationship with each other.

That said without this vote I wouldn't have thought how unfair it is that others vote about English issues and the West Lothian question wouldn't have happened. I was happy with the status quo.

Now I think it is fair that England have a fair vote in English issues. I can't afford for my children to go to uni, but it would be free in other parts of the UK. My DC was ill earlier this year and I spent nearly £100 in hospital parking, that wouldn't happen in other parts.

I'm looking forward to English devolution, but also apprehensive as I like being part of the whole.

I think the Queen is right and Tony Blair caused issues that didn't need to happen.

Apologies for losing the thread when it got weird!!

Night all Flowers

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 23:25

Night EWF hope you get some sleep tonight!

I should go to bed too.

Not saying I will, just that I should Grin

BasketzatDawn · 19/09/2014 23:41

Reading the news, it looks like the thuggery around George Square was quite minor - and the polis must have been waiting for them as they sorted it quickly. Hope so anyway.

Spare a thought for ds1 (or PFB as I call him when I want to stir his brothers up). He works in events and today's shift involved the clear up after a BT party. My boy is a through and through Yes voter. Grin As he put it, the ultimate irony - he seems to have taken it in good part and of course gets paid which helps. Wink

Have a good sleep everyone. I did sleep for a few hours last night, and again shut my eyes this evening, but I am knackered still. Off to bed 'properly' soon. Smile

BasketzatDawn · 19/09/2014 23:45

Did the queen really criticise Tony Blair, hiimangel?? Shurely not .... I will read news tomorrow, can't be bothered just now. I think I must be a republican as, when I hear the queen being quoted on radio, my ears glaze over .....
