No gloating.
No blaming.

Just appreciation for a huge turnout and a peaceful process.

Thanks for coming back to say that rooty

You'll understand I'm feeling a bit unfairly scrutinised at the moment so that's why I couldn't understand you were having a go.

Secretblackandmidnighthag · 19/09/2014 20:50

DOOO IT!

rootypig · 19/09/2014 20:52

Throng I think you're being pretty damn slippery. But I try to take responsibility for what I get wrong.

Antoniabegonia · 19/09/2014 20:52

I'm glad the no vote won purely because a yes would have destabilised two economies at a time where the recovery is still fragile.

I want all the home countries to work towards devolved government and eventual independence but mutual cooperation.

That is a win win situation for everyone.

I just hope the yes and no voters accept the others point of view with magnanimity and start working towards a better future.

starwarslegoboy · 19/09/2014 20:52

Yes Stat, that's really funny

rootypig · 19/09/2014 20:52

Thanks for the thanks Smile

Secretblackandmidnighthag · 19/09/2014 20:53

I've been a nob all over the internet today. I feel so humiliated and angry with the outcome. Being a nobber hasn't helped me feel any better I think I need to laugh instead.

WildThrong · 19/09/2014 20:56

I don't even know what being slippery means, but you're welcome.

Secret here's some Wine

Santana that's a good one... I'm crap at remembering jokes.

LatteLoverLovesLattes · 19/09/2014 21:04

Secret I don't get why you feel humiliated (angry I get if it's not what you wanted!). Your fellow citizens democratically voted to remain in the United Kingdom, to remain a part of something that is looked up to in the world, that is a force in the world. It voted to be a part of something, something that's actually quite special. Stop seeing it as people not being brave enough and see it as people choosing to be United with England, Wales & NI. Fuck Westminster, most of us hate the way that works! Govt is temporary United Kingdom is more, much more than bloody Westminster.

There is no reason to feel humiliated.

EarthWindFire · 19/09/2014 21:04

Och well, why should I leave the thread? I'll be nice.

Babyboomer
Good post, but you are going to have to have bullet proof tits to see off the shit you get online. I don't think it's just MN. And even people in cars swear at you in a way they never would if they were in a normal social environment Much mentalness, this modern world

It's ok - my tits are tough enough. I'm not afraid of t'internet even though I'm old.

Secretblackandmidnighthag · 19/09/2014 21:10

I feel humiliated because The Tories and miliband now seem to be going back on their promises about 'Devo max'. I really, really, really hope I'm wrong on that.

Also feel humiliated that people are dismissing the feelings of disappointment I have, like I'm being hysterical or over emotional. It's not even been 24 hours, give me time...I've wanted this since I was 8 years old! (Not here I hasten to add - good ole Facebook. )

Secretblackandmidnighthag · 19/09/2014 21:11
