To be really annoyed with the debate today on Loose Women?

Firstly, let me say, I do NOT watch this shite usually, I flicked it on as background noise this afternoon but was caught by the debate they were having, namely Domestic Abuse.

The whole debate was centred around the basis of the woman being the victim and the man, the perpetrator. They had a guest speaker on, I think she was affiliated with the refuge system in some way, very anti-men, and brought up these statistics about 95% of perpetrators being male etc.

This makes me so angry. The only reason the statistic is so unbalanced is because men don't come forward as often as women probably do.

I am aware of womens refuge's, but are there any for men?

I think far too much emphasis is placed on the male in these cases and is much too overlooked

You belive murders happen to promote feminists.
You idolize a man who openly says incest is a good thing.

Flossy that has to be one of the worst summing ups I have ever seen. Almost up there with the legal profession in terms of how you have managed to twist words.

It's blindingly obvious that sometimes one persons human rights to be a bell end will contradict another persons human rights to not have to tolerate a bell end so a decision has to be made, otherwise you end up like the North gong Zax and the South going Zax.

The human rights of children to not be abused are generally prioritised over the human rights of fathers to abuse them. That's just life and you have to get used to it, or not be an abusive arsehole.

No allegations of abuse against the children. My ex even admits I am a good father.

The solicitors just encouraged her to make allegations that I am mentally ill. No mention that I was a threat to the children, just that I needed to be supervised, meaning no overnights and therefore no reduction in child support payments.

Sneaky legal profession told her she would be quids in if she stitched me up on overnight stays. So for the last 4 years I have made sure she got almost nothing. This whole practice of solicitors encouraging women to lie in order to extort more money needs to end.

I could be weak and just roll over but that would be cowardly.

Crikey, I came on to post that I watched Loose Women today, (FTR it was deliberate) and yes the debate was centred around women being the main victims of DV, but Kaye Adams did keep mentioning that men are victims too. That we mustn't forget men can be victims as well as women, not in such great numbers, but victims all the same.

But now I've read the whole thread I don't know what to think! Where on earth has Tom been hiding? Is it a full moon or something? It's bloody weird!
