To be really annoyed with the debate today on Loose Women?

Firstly, let me say, I do NOT watch this shite usually, I flicked it on as background noise this afternoon but was caught by the debate they were having, namely Domestic Abuse.

The whole debate was centred around the basis of the woman being the victim and the man, the perpetrator. They had a guest speaker on, I think she was affiliated with the refuge system in some way, very anti-men, and brought up these statistics about 95% of perpetrators being male etc.

This makes me so angry. The only reason the statistic is so unbalanced is because men don't come forward as often as women probably do.

I am aware of womens refuge's, but are there any for men?

I think far too much emphasis is placed on the male in these cases and is much too overlooked Angry

Just my opinion, rant over.

Tom - I do not want to speak to you, you give me the creeps. WF spoke in favour of incest. I am not maligning him, I am judging him by his own words.

And once again, fuck off, you're a creepy weirdo.

TomLondon · 17/09/2014 20:16

1in 3 children without a father in the UK. 200 fathers a day refused contact in court.

What is happening in our society that we are demonising men and cutting them out of childrens lives?

And Warren Farrell of the idea of 'date fraud' where women say no but they really mean yes?

Norfolknway · 17/09/2014 20:17

After reading the whole thread I gave come to a conclusion; Tom is a bad man. I think we all know that...

MrSheen · 17/09/2014 20:17

Warren Farrell is shudder inducing.

Blistory · 17/09/2014 20:17

Women and children are fighting back against men like you, poor dead Tom. That's what's happening in society. And a damn good thing too.

AnyFucker · 17/09/2014 20:18

^In the interview, he argued that incest could be a good thing for everyone involved. Indeed, he waxed poetic about the possible positive effects:

“Incest is like a magnifying glass,” he told interviewer Philip Nobile. “In some circumstances it magnifies the beauty of the relationship, and in others it magnifies the trauma.”^

This guy ?

TomLondon · 17/09/2014 20:19

Saskia he had an open and honest discussion on the effects of incest. That is one discussion out of thousands that the feminist movement have now chosen to brand him with and to try to rubbish his other arguments.

He still is the leading authority on gender issues worldwide.

AnyFucker · 17/09/2014 20:20

“I’m not recommending incest between parent and child, and especially not between father and daughter. The great majority of fathers can grasp the dynamics of positive incest intellectually. But in a society that encourages looking at women in almost purely sexual terms, I don’t believe they can translate this understanding into practice.”

sorry I couldn't resist

You're coming across as entirely inappropriate.

I hope your children are safe. I hope your ex is safe.

puntasticusername · 17/09/2014 20:21

"What is happening in our society that we are demonising men and cutting them out of their children's lives?"

Well, for one thing, some men are utter arseholes, who fail to support their children and then try to dress that up as a noble act of male solidarity against Teh Evils Feministz.

I don't mean you in particular, Tom, of course, because that would be a personal attack and I'd get deleted. I just meant in general. Some men. Probably some of them could be in London.

TomLondon · 17/09/2014 20:21

He disputes some of your preconceived ideas. He is not afraid to try to undo some of the decades of feminazi indoctrination of society.

FlossyMoo · 17/09/2014 20:21

I didn't ask you for your source Tom I asked you for statistical EVIDENCE. Look Bas did it earlier it's easy.

"Killings of children by a natural parent are committed in roughly equal proportions by mothers (47%) and fathers (53%), but where the child is killed by someone other than a [birth] parent, males strongly predominate".

(Office for National Statistics, 2014

Whiskwarrior · 17/09/2014 20:21

Tom

Can you answer my question from above please?

MrSheen · 17/09/2014 20:21

I'm going to ignore your made up statistics, and I'm not going to point out that most 'fatherless' households are fatherless because the fathers, not the mothers have buggered off but I am going to say that the family courts maintain the status quo as far as possible. If you are a shit dad who doesn't do any parenting then their hands are somewhat tied when it comes to deciding on residency.

Also, civil disobedience is civil, not domestic. What you are describing is financial abuse.

basgetti · 17/09/2014 20:22

It is important that a woman’s “noes” be respected and her “yeses” be respected. And it is also important when her nonverbal “yeses” (tongues still touching) conflict with those verbal “noes” that the man not be put in jail for choosing the “yes” over the “no.” He might just be trying to become her fantasy.

This guy?

Whiskwarrior · 17/09/2014 20:23

Basgetti

Did he really say that? Shock I haven't heard of him before (thank God) but that is revolting!

FlossyMoo · 17/09/2014 20:24

feminaz

Come on Tom you made that up didn't ya? Come you can tell me Grin

Corabell · 17/09/2014 20:24

Tom, you smell and go away.

gordyslovesheep · 17/09/2014 20:25

Tom I hope your ex it far far away from you

TomLondon · 17/09/2014 20:25

Flossy here you go this is a direct cut and paste from a Warren Farrell book.

Report on child maltreatment released by the US Department of Health and Human Services:

"Each year 350 parents in the US kill one or more of their children. Almost two-thirds of the parents who kill their children are mothers"

Almost two-thirds of the children killed between 8-15 by their parents are boys

The most common scenario is mothers killing boys

Children are 88% more likely to be seriously injured from child abuse or neglect by their mother than by their father (National Incidence study of child abuse and neglect USA)

Boys who are abused are 24% more likely to suffer serious injuries than girls who are abused

Single mother households account for 43% of all abused children

SnakeyMcBadass · 17/09/2014 20:28

I doubt Ghandi would approve of your struggle, dearly departed Tom. But I'm certain that your children will grow up and see your struggle as a weasly, controlling, cuntish temper tantrum. Kids are bright, see.
