I think it's a bit unfair to call the no voters calculating and more reserved, I am sure everyone on both sides has done about as much thinking and deciding as they can based on the information available to them
I expected some reaction to my post, of course.
I wrote of a tendency, not a hard and fast description of all Yes and No voters.
To be clear, the great majority of eligible voters have not demonstrated on the streets - fortunately, because there just isn't room.
That tendency of the two camps explains the different levels of support amongst the small proportion of voters on the streets.
And I do most certainly maintain that a substantial number of Yes supporters have been swept along with the excitement rather than made a cool, calm, assessment. For the simple reason that many of them have neglected to realise how much the SNP has misled them and how much they will suffer after a Yes vote. Again not all , but many.
