Do you shower every day?

The thread about taking an hour made me wonder.

In the morning I:

Clean teeth and listerine (10 mins)

Shower including hair wash with conditioner and shave legs and armpits every other day (10 mins)

Dry and straighten hair (10 mins)

Makeup, dress, earrings and other accessories (10 mins)

I can cut this down but I dawdle and make cups of tea, watch tv in between so yeah about an hour. But some people seem to just wash?

So what is the average?

I didnt ever leave mine to cry until they puked Shock
When little in a bouncy chair or when asleep or when older drop off at play group then have a shower. I always had a bath at night as well ,just to relax .

I think [lion] has a point - mine were used to seeing me shower so it wasn't stressful.

I also went to the loo on my own Grin

For very long and complicated reasons (mainly due to too many other demands on my time in the window of opportunity for having a shower and then various other people in my house) I have not had a shower today and I have felt below par, restless and not quite right. I can also detect a hint of aroma of armpit as I sit here, so what it would be like after 7 days I can hardly imagine.

Will have a long and wallowy bath before bed.

Unless you're a twice-a-dayer with under 2s, in which case, what the hell do you do with your kids??

You stick them in a cot and a playpen, shut the door and enjoy your shower!

Baby you can put in bouncer chair in the bathroom with you.
Older baby/toddler leave in a playpen. Or if a little older in their room with a stairgate.
Any older than that then just leave them playing wherever and have your shower but leave the bathroom door open so they can come get you if you are needed.

I shower at night if I'm up and out v early in the morning for work (dont work every day) otherwise I shower after school run (normally chuck on jeans/tee/vans then come back, eat, shower properly 15 mins). Am very Envy (that's an envious face!) at those who can wash hair and dry it/style it in ten minutes. Mine takes twenty minutes to blow dry, ten to go over with the straightener and then I sometimes get the curling iron on it for five minutes too for some bounce. So forty minute minimum for basic hair wash and dry incl shower time. Luckily I only need to do it once a week! I do sometimes skip a day with showers though, if I've got a really full on day or not feeling great. Will wash face, armpits though before dressing.

Shower twice a day. Wash hair in morning, takes 10 mins. Drying hair takes 15 mins, it's thick and long, can put up wet if late. Teeth 5 mins, dressing and make up 3 mins Blush.
