Teacher present - the horror story

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 14:57

I need to emigrate - seriously. I thought I was super organised, present in, gift bagged and in the corner of my room weeks ago. Dd took in today for her teacher- along with a pair of mislaid knickers tucked nicely in the bag , serves me right for using floor as giant washing basket but oh the shame - especially as the teacher in question is a 25 ish year old male.
My dd is mortified, I could hide forever and still 1 more day of school to go .... Will I be fined if we break up early ??

Hahahahahaa were they nice knickers or were they period pants?!

Nocturne123 · 17/07/2014 15:01

I have nothing useful to say but this did make me laugh :) . Were they nice pants?

StanleyLambchop · 17/07/2014 15:01

Clean or dirty? makes a difference on how I will judge you. May make a difference on how the teacher will judge you too. Is he fit? Totally sexist

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 15:01

Nice ones thank goodness but I m worried that looks like it I m a floozy and will never wear again now anyway for the memory !!

Perhaps he'll tell you off for not having your name sewn in them Grin

manchestermummy · 17/07/2014 15:03

Oh dear but Grin sorry!

My DD2 has a rather lovely swimming teacher, to whom I saw fit to tell the entire story of DD2's constipation issues. I died a little inside.

CoffeeTea103 · 17/07/2014 15:04

Sorry op this made me Grin. How old is your dd?

starfishmummy · 17/07/2014 15:05

You can't beat a box of quality street bought on the way to school and handed over in a carrier bag!!

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 15:07

Oh god I hate that I want to laugh and pretend it's someone else while staying home for the next 10 years. Thanks for name tag idea though- I ll try that next time I do it !!

9 I ve traumatised her

spence24 · 17/07/2014 15:08

That is spectacular. Next time you see the teacher at the school just make a funny joke about it, and move on - at least it'll be a story for him to tell at his retirement party in another 30-odd years!

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 15:10

Any funny joke ideas as funnily enough I can't think of anything that would rescue me , just a huge whoops ?

Tinkerball · 17/07/2014 15:12

Did he give them back to your DD then? Grin

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 15:12

Yes - with a message to say thanks but wrong size

MrsTerryPratchett · 17/07/2014 15:14

OMG he's funny as well. Thank goodness for that.

fluffyraggies · 17/07/2014 15:14

The type of knicker is v.important.

Up round your ribs knickers, a scrap of lace thong, or something in between?
Grin

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 15:15

Oh no - I just realised it won't be just him that knows . I m guessing I need to avoid the full teaching staff

my dd told her sickeningly fit teacher that i was in hospital having 'something' fixed because it was 'too big and flappy' i was in fact having my c-section scar fixed. this was 3 years ago and i still can't look this man in the face. dd is my least favourite child.

Trooperslane · 17/07/2014 15:19

Awwww op!

Morto and scarlet for you - but it's given me an almighty chuckle

Lottiedoubtie · 17/07/2014 15:26

:o :o :o

can your dd change schools op? Or maybe you could get her adopted until 2017.

londonrach · 17/07/2014 15:35

Thanks op that's the best story ever. You will be a legend in that school. Sounds like the teacher has an excellent sense of humour and knew it was a mistake. I bet your dh is going to love this story. It's a classic. No you don't have to emigrate you have been left with a great story. X

Needtoemigrate · 17/07/2014 15:36

I actually wouldn't mind a little telling off he is too nice. I blush without this disaster already!!
Fluffyraggies- somewhere in between , think pretty and lacy not Bridget jones or a string

lettertoherms · 17/07/2014 15:43

I need to ask the obvious question... are you single? Grin
