I ate a weird slug-thing in China once. It was horrible but I ate it all to avoid offending my hosts!

As a teen a made a sandwich that consisted of mayo, smoked cheese, pickle... and slices of mars bar.

I remember it as being quite tasty.

Just to clarify, it was pickled onions, sliced in half so they didn't roll away.

A fertilized egg - I peeled an egg in a local restaurant in Vietnam expecting just a boiled egg, but there was a chick inside. Apparently a delicacy. I ate it so as not to be rude and wasteful.
