No more biased commentary. No more mention of 1966 for now
They're going home Grin

echo, what the fuck are you on about?

scotchtikidoll · 20/06/2014 20:47

They are a bunch of overpaid shitheads with no passion. Even when they give interviews or comments, they come across like they do not care. No spark there. It's like, the light is on but no-one is home.
I may be Scottish, but I don't think highly of Scottish football either.

Thank you Luis for making me some cash last night Grin At least you didn't act like your legs were glued to the ground

Adds salt and pepper to the shit-stirring

I was so pleased when DH told me earlier.

No more having to listen about football ( well for now Grin)

I'm quite interested to see how long the patriotism lasts though. Apparently the reason the neighbour covered his house and garden was because he was so proud to be British.

Nothing wrong with that of course. Though I do wonder why he doesn't feel that way when the football isn't on Wink

LadyNexus · 20/06/2014 20:51

He obviously covered his house and garden in flags.....

WhereTheWildlingsAre · 20/06/2014 20:52

The French are playing really well! Fantastic match unless you are Swiss

Aliceinvodkaland · 20/06/2014 20:52

Aliceinvodkaland · 20/06/2014 20:52

did anyone notice the supporter wearing a jimmy wig and full Scotland strip in amongst the Uraguay fans last night? Dh and I burst out laughing...sorry!

weebarra · 20/06/2014 20:59

Big footie fan here, but Scottish so I probably don't count. Though they played ok, but just couldn't do it on the night. Assumed they would have gone through tbh. Supporting France myself, think they've been best so far.

TheBogQueen · 20/06/2014 21:00

I just don't get it

I've really tried. But I find myself looking at my watch after 5 mins.

And it doesn't make me feel 'English' at all - I don't associate it with Englishness.

Football can't be common!

I'm common as muck and I can't stand it Grin

But I do like dried apricots.

genuinely bemused

HaroldLloyd · 20/06/2014 21:02

I'm common and I hate football.

And I'm welsh.

But I was not glad England lost.

What on earth did you say?
