I'm with you OP- it really pisses me off that as a human I am expected to be into all that human rights shit as well.

And as for feminism, I can't see what's wrong with a world where women are stoned to death for making their own choices.

I also can't see why people are so upset at being reduced to tits and a cunt every single day everywhere, in the press, on the tv, on billboards, on the internet, on the streets. And it's not as if there's any inequality- royal arses are treated just the same as us lower class arses.

We have equal pay with men as well, right? So what's the issue?

The only adherents of any ism that aren't obnoxious are the ones that you are hardly aware of as adherents, because they don't go out of their way to bother you with their views.

If anyone seems overly keen on communicating that they are a feminist, socialist, Christian, Satanist or whatever, I suddenly remember somewhere else I need to be. I think women who say they aren't feminists are understandably trying not to be perceived as one of those people.

Not all followers of an ideology are obnoxious, but the ones who speak out strongly mostly are, therefore the illusion is created that all followers are obnoxious. People with lives to be getting on with don't need the burden of being labelled obnoxious.
