Only if purchased from M&S. None of this foreign crap...oh...

squoosh · 28/05/2014 11:39

I'm not sure my stomach is strong enough to take on the role of a latter day Mata Hari. I will need intensive training and a lot of anti nausea medicine.

TheBogQueen · 28/05/2014 11:40

I know I need to get on with it

Sigh

Please not the image of shagging Farrage it's not right it's not fair! Grin

Yep remember john majors soap box and the Victorian values while he was quietly shagging Edwin's curry! He win the election until the recession.

I honestly don't think people wouldn't expect Farrage to have skeletons and wouldn't care if he had.

I hope the main parties nip this resurgence of intolerance by listening and challenging UKIP with facts. At the moment they seem paralysed with shock and indecision especially Ed and Nick.

It must be bad if you'd rather imagine Ukippers swinging in hot-tubs

I googled song lyrics at 15 minute intervals while writing up my PhD

FidelineandFumblin · 28/05/2014 11:46

Maybe Edwina Currie can train squoosh?

squoosh · 28/05/2014 11:48

Edwina Currie must be hard as nails. She has SEEN icky things, she has DONE icky things. She probably teaches the French Foreign Legion class Lessons In How To Be Hard.

SirChenjin · 28/05/2014 12:16

Unless of course Bog's dissertation is on 'A cultural consideration of the swinging and vol au vent eating tendencies of UKIP' Wink

TheBogQueen · 28/05/2014 12:23

I would love to write about that.

How these people, while swinging, would smack giggling Audrey on the bottom with a woman's weekly and experience an extra frisson because she is the wife of the chairman of the local golf club.

FidelineandFumblin · 28/05/2014 12:42

I just want you to know I had to take an unsceduled noon bath as a result of this thread (and the picture of Prince Willy's Willy on the other thread) - just to feel clean again.

SirChenjin · 28/05/2014 12:46

There's another thread going on atm about Katie Wales bum flashing and the same frisson...I'm beginning to wonder if she and Wills might just possibly be closet UKIP supporters

@TeWiSavesTheDay

I firmly believe that political parties pay staff to spread their message/bring everything vaguely political back to them online.

There's a couple of very obvious UKIP suspects on Mumsnet unfortunately.

Actually I'm going to report this post to MN and ask, if it was found that someone WAS being paid to promote a political party on here whether that would be against talk guidelines.

Hi TeWi - thanks for flagging this one.

If we knew for sure that someone was a paid promotional agent of a party then yes, posting to promote them on the boards would break our Guidelines.

The difficulty lies in how we would know that they were a paid agent. Many perfectly ordinary people, after all, are very committed to a particular party without taking any payment or salary from them. In those cases it's not against our rules at all to post in support of parties.

We realise that it can be a bit tedious when posters seem to have signed up purely to promote a particular agenda, and where this seems to be the case we can email them off-board and let them know that their style is putting other posters off a bit, and/or starting to feel a bit spammy.

But bearing in mind that we're now very much in the run-up to the 2015 General Election, we think there might have to be a certain amount of acceptance that some posters just really are deeply affiliated to a particular party, and that their posts on MN will reflect this.

So a bit of a mixed picture really - as ever, the main thing is to report things to us if you'd like us to take a look.

TeWiSavesTheDay · 28/05/2014 17:11

Thanks Rowan, good to know. And yes get that it would be very hard to police!

Also I'm never eating a vol-au-vent again now.

goshhhhhh · 28/05/2014 19:35

Thank you Rowan
