...whilst on a public engagement must have either a) a screw loose or b) major exhibistionistic tendencies?

She has clearly made a policy of eschewing hem weights.

She knew she would be getting into a helicopter.

It looks like she is commando, although I suppose there is the possibility of a dental floss g-string.

I'm just Shock

She looks like she did when she was in the early stages of pregnancy before, or she has been crying.

Yes I thought the hem looked lumpty too.

SirChenjin · 29/05/2014 12:05

Yes - but she is inspecting a helicopter that the Scottish Ambulance Service have recently purchased, so I don't think Scotland is safe just yet Sad

FidelineandFumblin · 29/05/2014 12:07

There are weights in that there hem.

One less reason to vote for independence after all Wink

Well Kim Kardasian West's arse looks well packed in!

I hope not.

Men in kilts......perhaps she has decided not to compete!

FidelineandFumblin · 29/05/2014 12:22

Maybe it was just pigheadedness all along.

Can it really be true that William insulates them from all good advice?

OP posts:
Igggi · 29/05/2014 12:22

Oldgrandmama ones I've bought labelled "G string" are definitely more stringy at the back, no material really and yes they do disappear up your mum but handy if you just don't want them seen at all, will appear invisible. Things seems to have wider back bits.
And that's the most thought I've ever given to this subject!

Nancy66 · 29/05/2014 12:23

god that's a horrible outfit and those shoes AGAIN

trufflesnout · 29/05/2014 12:23

A G-string is just strings with no little piece at the back. A thong has the piece at the back and isn't as thin.

I have no idea how I know that since I live in lovely giant knickers

trufflesnout · 29/05/2014 12:25

Posh people always walk slightly bow-legged, like their hips are a bit wobbly...

FidelineandFumblin · 29/05/2014 12:28

snort @"yes they do disappear up your mum"

Surely nude shoes have had their day? I'm no style expert but come on? The array of shoes she must have available to her... But, oh no, here comes 'frugal' Kate in her favourite LK Bennett specials. Zzzzz

SirChenjin · 29/05/2014 12:30

I prefer to think of us as honest Fideline - and there aren't any reasons to vote for independence Grin

I'd get in less trouble myself if I just moved up to where all the other 'call a spade a spade' folk live Grin

I gather Kate's Mum is not "posh". Carole was born in Southall which is a deprived area, and she has bowed legs too.

Nancy66 · 29/05/2014 12:38

Kate Moss and Pamela Anderson also have really bowed legs.

FidelineandFumblin · 29/05/2014 12:40

People born in Southall council housing always walk slightly bow-legged, like their hips are a bit wobbly...

I think Effective might have found the flaw in your flagrant stereotyping there truff Wink Tis dodgy either way.

SuperFlyHigh · 29/05/2014 12:41

Effective - Kate's mum is a commoner.... ha ha ha (I'm being nasty now!) hence my trolley dolly jibes!

Bless Kate though she certainly knows how to court attention both in the media and here! what a dahling (deliberate misspelling there) she is! what a gel! Grin

SirChenjin · 29/05/2014 12:42

Yes - come up here and we'll call your spade a fucking spade Grin

FidelineandFumblin · 29/05/2014 12:45

If those are weights in the hem (what else) she should sack the seamstress, they look like they've been wrapped in kapok and shoved through a tiny incision.

Unless she did exactly that in a fit of petulance? Confused

I wouldn't be surprised if Alex the Salmon arranged the helicopter for her to inspect as a special last minute addition to the programme SirCh

I've just nearly thrown up my lunch at the thought of a g-string disappearing up my mum! Shock.

I looked at the pictures of her on the DM online (sorry), I think the coat is awful. What is wrong with the hem? She doesn't look that great today either.
