If you don't understand how to write something then don't try and be clever.

Oh yes, it gives me such irrational rage! In fact I raised this with some friends (lightheartedly) a few weeks ago.... Seen too many 'on routes' on FB. Glad I'm not the only one!

NormHonal · 24/04/2014 22:30

'Definately'

FFS there's autocorrect! How can anyone get that wrong?!

gratefulforwhatihavegot · 24/04/2014 22:32

HappyGirlNow · 24/04/2014 22:38

I don't think it's trying to be clever though.. If you genuinely haven't seen it written down and know it's 'en route' and just hear it, it's understandable..

Still does my head in though Grin like 'of' instead of 'have' and thousands of other examples..

DaffodilsandTruffles · 24/04/2014 22:38

Draws upsets me (as in chest of draws).

I can only assume that's how they pronounce it but...

I judge, I really do.

NCFTTB · 24/04/2014 22:39

Yanbu!

feathermucker · 24/04/2014 22:39

YANBU Angry

I don't correct people, but do have alittle -smug- smile to myself Smile

FarToGo · 24/04/2014 22:40

Seriously.

In fact it was written as 'and Walla!'

I died a little bit inside. I am a fully signed up grammar enforcement officer.

drnoitall · 24/04/2014 22:40

Say lavvy!!!!
Bloody hell that's funny.
Oh yes, per say, makes me laugh.
I remember a friend who would say "he has cut off his nose despite his face!"

RhondaJean · 24/04/2014 22:42

Draws and of make me really unhappy.

It's a kinda teeth itch, but I'm damned if I am going to say anything, s I suppose I should thank them for helping me work on my tolerance and become a better person.

HeyBungalowBill · 24/04/2014 22:42

I hate on route with a passion.

Can't be doing with "bound" either, eg. London bound

MadAriadne · 24/04/2014 22:43

'Queue' for 'cue'

STAB

Forgettable · 24/04/2014 22:44

Who remembers the London-based poster who was ranting about summat and was going to report so-and-so to the Cancel

Felt awful for laughing but was too funny
