aibu to think that I could front a campaign for clinique? I need the money, and considering that I manage do a better job of selling their products than the clinique salesladies, surely I should be able to make some moeny by modelling for them.

40 is the new 21 isnt it?
I had no wrinkles at 40, signs of ageing weren't even on my radar way back then, I don't think thats especially unusual?

springlamb · 31/03/2014 20:44

Don't you worry poco, I've got your share here ready and waiting. I'm saving them until the night before you have a really important social engagement then I'm going to send them over to you all in one go, so you end up looking like a shar pei.
Now, does anyone want to discuss their firm and pert norks, cos I got saggy downtrodden ones here waiting for a good home.

ohmymimi · 31/03/2014 20:45

I'm 66, but I look 26. Not a single wrinkle, grey hair, stretch mark, age spot. My skin glows and is plump, my lips are full and well defined. I can still go bra-less, as my breasts are firm and high. My booty would give Bey a run for her money. My teeth are perfect, even and white. I never need to depilate as I am hair-free on body, lip and chin. My hairdresser marvels at the glory of my full, thick mane of chestnut hair. Oh, and I have a thigh gap. So there.

ExcuseTypos · 31/03/2014 20:45

Eccle no I don't go around telling people how old I am, that would be a bit madGrin

It just comes up in conversation- so if in general conversation I say my DDs have left home now, I get the "why, where are they?"
Me- "they're at university"
Person "you have children at university, how old are you?"

When I tell them they usually tell me what age they thought I was.

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 31/03/2014 20:48

Thanks sybil. Grin

Wuxiapian · 31/03/2014 20:52

Did I miss plco's wrinkle-free, awesome-skin picture?

bouquetofpencils · 31/03/2014 20:53

I have two things to say

No wrinkles on a balloon

At some point you have to choose between your face or your body.

MrsCR · 31/03/2014 20:57

groan, Im 34yrs old and thanks to a 'train track' forehead (thanks DS1) and 'sun bursts' framing my eyes (thanks DS2) I look more like 44yrs old. So unfair.
I blame my mum, she has her life journey etched on her face and on her I love everyone of them just wish I hadn't inherited them all....

pulls up a chair for more talk on botox and fillers (please!!)....

CoteDAzur · 31/03/2014 20:57

My grandmother had very few wrinkles at the age of 89.

That's Parkinson's for you.

SelectAUserName · 31/03/2014 20:58

I'm 43 with no wrinkles. I'm only about 1/2 stone or so overweight so it's not fat either. Unfortunately it's in part because of a medical condition which means I have very "elastic" skin but also very elastic joints which dislocate and sprain far too easily.

Swings and roundabouts...I'd rather have a few wrinkles tbh.

ExcuseTypos · 31/03/2014 21:02

Well I'm only 48, 8 stone and no wrinkles, so its not always a case of face or body.

I firmly believe its genetics. My mum, dad and both Grandmothers never looked their age. My sister and brother also get taken as people a lot younger.

Odaat · 31/03/2014 21:02

I have a slight line on my forhead and I am mid twenties ... Is this abnormal?

There are plenty of wrinkles on a deflated balloon, though bouquetofpencils

Mimishimi · 31/03/2014 21:08

Regardless of whether you had wrinkles in your early forties or not, Clinique would continue to hire girls in the early teens as the models. That's their target market.

ClownsLeftJokersRight · 31/03/2014 21:09

I'm 49, no grey hair or wrinkles.

My neck isn't as good as I'd like though. . And I have a big bumHmm

itsbetterthanabox · 31/03/2014 21:13

I'm sure you do have wrinkles. That's just what skin looks like. But there's nothing wrong with wrinkles!

Odaat · 31/03/2014 21:14

Is this a shameless boast fest!?
Wow! Well I have good teeth and figure (ish) but i do have a lil line on my forhead - none round eyes though. Does this mean I am going to have loads of wrinkles- as I am ony in 20s?

Odaat · 31/03/2014 21:15

I also have vericose bloody veins on left leg :/ I am old before my time!

ThatOtherTime · 31/03/2014 21:22

I am beautiful on the inside and the outside. My mum told me so it must be true.

taratamara · 31/03/2014 21:34

yes I quite like the non stealth boastiness on this thread Grin maybe we should do it more often

RufinaTheStressed · 31/03/2014 22:18

I'm 48 with no wrinkles either. In the past six months I've had people express surprise that I was over thirty, never mind over forty. I laughed. I reckon I look about ten years younger.

magimedi · 31/03/2014 22:23

I am 58.

I have wrinkles.

I have age spots

I have white hair

And.....................

I don't give a flying fuck.

If anyone is judging me on my appearance let them.

That's their problem not mine.

PS I can swim 1K of front crawl in under 30 mins - a very non stealth boast that I am more proud of than how I look.

TheBigBumTheory · 31/03/2014 22:24

Have you all lost your reading glasses?

I look great in the dark with my lenses out. Grin

SleepRefugee · 31/03/2014 22:26

I don't see any proper wrinkles when I look in the mirror. My recent holiday snaps tell a different story!
