aibu to think that I could front a campaign for clinique? I need the money, and considering that I manage do a better job of selling their products than the clinique salesladies, surely I should be able to make some moeny by modelling for them.

I'm 48 and have no wrinkles- only when I smile I get the smile lines- do they count?

I'm often mistaken as being 10 years younger- lovely now but I used to get some very judgey looks when I was 28 with 2 DDs and people thought I was still a teenager. arseholes

I am now starting to get a bit saggy in the face. My jowls are definitely heading southSad

Wishiwashelenmirren · 31/03/2014 19:55

I'm 52 and have very few wrinkles. But I'm ugly as heck with a face like a hound dog, best view of me is with a bag over my head.
Do have a nice bum though.

natwebb79 · 31/03/2014 19:56

My best friend is 50 and has not one frickin line on her face. She's also absolutely stunning and very slim. She claims that 'black don't crack'. I love her but she's a bitch because I'm 34 with crow's feet and a terrible '11'. Grin

I want Botox but not sure about fillers. Fortysomethingwinelover how instant is Botox and can it make you look less tired?

AwfulMaureen · 31/03/2014 19:59

I am also 41. I have one wrinkle. I am pleased with that. My teeth are crooked though.

Ecclefechan · 31/03/2014 19:59

I'm always amazed by people who say that no-one believes how old they are. Do you go around telling everyone your age? And you do know that if you ask people to guess your age they automatically deduct 10 years to avoid insulting you Grin

I'm not bitter oh no not me

Fortysomethingwinelover · 31/03/2014 20:05

thebody I normally see a difference in 3-4 days. Yes I think it makes me look less tired.

heisenberg999 · 31/03/2014 20:07

My mum was the same right up to well in to her 50s, and still looks a lot younger. Even my nan in her 90s looked early 70s.

Im 30 and always getting mistaken for very young. Someone came kicking off in to my work and said there is no way shes in charge shes only a little girl and about how young I was. Greatest insult ever. It made my day!

MammaTJ · 31/03/2014 20:08

I'm 46 and wrinkle free though not axactly gorgeous.

whatever5 · 31/03/2014 20:15

I'm 46 and I don't have wrinkles but that doesn't mean I look 26 as I don't have as much fat under the face skin as a 26 year old. I think that most white people in their 40s are the same and it's not really wrinkles which ages us.

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 31/03/2014 20:20

Ooh I want to know about Botox too!

Can you have it but keep some lines and still move your forehead?

I want my lines to still be there but look like they did 4/5 years ago.

Thetallesttower · 31/03/2014 20:23

Whatever you may be right, the fat all slips to under your chin...

SybilRamkin · 31/03/2014 20:25

Gunpowder - yes, that's exactly what it does! It's brill, go for it.

HauntedNoddyCar · 31/03/2014 20:27

I'm 43 and have more wrinkles than an elephant's scrotum.

:(

gordyslovesheep · 31/03/2014 20:29

I am 43 with the odd wrinkle but NO FILLINGS - and all my own teeth

----> teethy smile Grin

taratamara · 31/03/2014 20:30

you lot are show offs
I've got loads of wrinkles
Sad
still get the odd wolf whistle so I haven't given up yet Wink

Ecclefechan · 31/03/2014 20:31

I thought about getting Botox for crows' feet but researched it and lots of cases of it causing "chipmunk face" and causing bagging under the eyes. Anyone had any experience?

MrsBongleChops · 31/03/2014 20:36

OK, I am 45 and no major wrinkles (lots of tiny ones!). Sadly chin not too defined (hmmmm... turkey neck is probably it...). Am on diet though. Going down the gym. Eating only salad. I'll be 9st again before I know it (IN MY DREAMS).
Why can't we just get old nicely!
Surely we all have a few wrinkles, however minor (past 40 ish roughly!).

FunnysInLaJardin · 31/03/2014 20:37

I'm 43 and don't really have any wrinkles. I am a bit fat though so fairs fair. I also don't have much grey hair . I have loads of fillings

CakeExpectations · 31/03/2014 20:37

I'm 45. No wrinkles, as I'm too lardy. And I have to pluck my chin every day. Jealous?

No grey hairs at all though, so none of this having roots done malarkey. That's about the only thing I can think of to thank my gene pool for.

phonebox · 31/03/2014 20:40

I looked at my face while smiling in the rear view mirror in my car in full sunshine today.

BIG MISTAKE.

Now I know exactly where all those bastarding wrinkles will be out to party when I'm a pensioner.

I'm in my 20s, ffs :(

crazynanna · 31/03/2014 20:40

I am 51..and no wrinkles. But I am rather fatoverweight.

I don't have any grey hair either.

redrubyindigo · 31/03/2014 20:43

I could model for Poundland or the 99p store. I have one tiny little filling. I have six grey hairs on my head but much more on my chin.

Total babe......................Hmm
